Great Job.
Trade Plate Driver (Current Employee) - UK - 24 August 2023
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedOps team & mgmt are good. Great job, get to see so much of the UK. Heavily relies on public transport, though. Train delays and last minute job cancellations can leave you out of pocket/stranded. There should to be more support for drivers that incur extra costs at no fault of their own. Long days. You have to be savvy with PT & willing to walk or cycle a lot.

Sweatshop for drivers
Contract Driver (Former Employee) - London, Greater London - 3 August 2023
This company was ok as little as 8 months back. Since then they have been stockpiling drivers with the equivalent drop off in the number and value of jobs. Simply nowhere near worth the trouble to work for these people. Net result: only the worst and most desperate drivers stay.
Pros
None
Cons
Little worthwhile work and grossly underpaid.

Felt like i was scammed
Vehicle Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - Glasgow - 12 July 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? The travelling to different locations all around Uk What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Made me pay for my own travel expenses which is the biggest cost in this trade and any petrol money gets paid back on pay day which is twice a month. So if your paying for your own travel expenses then your obviously going to look to keep the cost down and not travel at peak hours etc which will affect your arrival times for most jobs you would need to do. I worked there a few months and incurred quite a few costs and in the end felt like this company is taking advantage of self employed drivers What is the work environment and culture like at the company? The staff were not very helpful and some of the managers would shout at you over the phone all in all i would feel like i was back in high school What is a typical day like for you at the company? A typical day would involve you finding the right mode of transport and in some cases not being able to find any bus stops or busses going the way you need to go in which case i would need to walk to the destination for a few miles thats for pick ups and for drop offs you need to make your own way back and not even ask the customer for a lift or even accept a lift to the closest station or bus stop

Terrible terrible management
QA Assurance Engineer (Former Employee) - Remote - 11 June 2023
The IT director and QA lead are clueless , they have no idea about QA or how to implement it. Best to steer clear of this company they just don’t get it

Avoid if possible
Driver (Former Employee) - United Kingdom - 17 March 2023
They only care about you delivering vehicles to their customers not about they driver's which they absolutely don't have respect. You have to pay your own money towards public transport between jobs. Sometimes you might not have a move to bring you near your home, so you will have to spend nearly half of what you have earned that day towards public transport or hostel. You would be better off working for a minimum wage company than working for Enginius. As you could be working 15 hours a day, which might work out as £5 an hour with this company. But if you love hanging around at the bus stops earning peanut money, then you can apply, otherwise stay away...
Pros
None
Cons
No respect for drivers

Enjoy my work but not really paid enough
Vehicle Delivery Driver (Current Employee) - Bristol - 27 August 2022
Long hours which I was aware of when I started. Pay looks good but when you take into account the hors worked in a day it tends to be near minimum wage.
Pros
Get out and about and mostly drive very new vehicles
Cons
Long hours

Good pay but lot of issues to overcome and no job description.
Driver (Former Employee) - London, Greater London - 23 June 2022
The job is easy and laid back. Also the pay is good. But everyday you have to face another hardship to overcome. Also you can't plan your evening because If something goes wrong, you may not be able to go home on time.

Think twice
Contracted Vehicle Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - Sheerness - 1 June 2022
This job cost me almost my entire savings in the 6 months I was there due to having to pay for commute to jobs nationwide yourself which usually can run into hundreds of pounds daily and must wait two weeks for your money to be refunded. You work on average 10-12 hours days, barely get any support from operations teams when needed. Make sure you have a least a £1000 sub to cover the commute to jobs for the first two weeks.
Pros
Driving different cars
Cons
Long hours, poor pay, expenses refunded after 2 weeks which will keep you out of pocket every time.

It’s a job
Trade Plate Driver (Current Employee) - Aberdeen - 20 May 2022
I like the job and the travel bit but no fuel card no travel expenses to or from jobs I seldom leave Scotland as travel is not cost affective and if not for my bus pass could not do the job

Brilliant work, ridiculous hours.
Contract Driver (Current Employee) - Bristol - 8 May 2022
Contracted vehicle delivery driver based in Bristol. Get to drive a range of lovely cars, meeting lovely customers and the freedom of being out on the road with no calls/emails etc. But you need to accept days are long - don't be surprised to be working 12-15 hours a day and sometimes longer. As a contracted driver you get paid a minimum amount each week and all of your travel expenses paid which is good but it means the planning team will send you on a long train journey between jobs therefore you might work 15 hours a day but still only get £100 before tax. The job is brilliant but if the thought of being 200 miles from home at 6pm on a Friday night scares you the jobs not for you.

Good job, poor pay
Driver (Former Employee) - London West, Greater London - 26 February 2022
This job is nice if we are talking albout driving, but they don't pay for return to home, so most of jobs is not worth to do, because payment is around £65,and we have to pay for train £30, and you can leave home 9am, and back 5pm, so 8 hours, and £35 profit

Great please yourself work, work as much or as little as you like.
Vehicle Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - London - 23 February 2022
Great job for anyone that doesn't want a regular office job. You work alone so must enjoy your own company. Need to be able to plan your routes back home.
Pros
Driving decent cars around the country
Cons
Pay could be better, relying on trains to get home at times that aren't always reliable.

They have great Portal for picking the jobs to suit you and a great backup team. The money can be good if you are prepared to work hard. Management seem to be hands on.
Pros
To choose your jobs and work to suit you.
Cons
Long hours, cancellations can be a nuisance but these things happen.

The best vehicle movement company around
Professional Vehicle Movement Driver (Current Employee) - Northamptonshire - 15 December 2021
Engineius are a relatively new company in the vehicle movement industry but as a collective they have a huge amount of knowledge and experience within the business. The office support staff are superb and keep promises when they need to get back to you and do so with a very positive attitude. This is almost unheard of in this industry! If you want to be in control of your days work, love to drive and meet new and interesting people, then maybe this would suit you. You will need to be resilient, resourceful and have the time to plan your day / week in advance and be prepared for possible changes which happen through no fault of the company. Contrary to other comments that I have seen on this medium, if a job is cancelled within 24 hours, you do get a contribution payment and if a job is cancelled once you are travelling to it, you get full value for that job. In summary, a professional company with talented office staff and sound management who really do care about their drivers and staff. Highly recommended.
Pros
Best in the business
Cons
Not many - mainly of your own doing!

Flexible driving work
Vehicle Delivery Driver (Current Employee) - Home Based - 30 October 2021
The online portal allows you to choose (or reject) jobs so you’re in control of work/life balance. They will ask you to drive a wide range of vehicles. Jobs generally start or finish within a reasonable distance from home. You are responsible for covering your own fares so research that before taking a delivery. They pay promptly and reliably straight into your bank account. They are well regarded within the auto industry.
Pros
Total flexibility. You choose when to work and which jobs to take.
Cons
Pay is not very generous

Pros
Freedom
Cons
Pay for own travel

Trade Plate Driver (Former Employee) - Birmingham - 10 June 2021
If you want mega pay then unfortunately this might not be the role for you, but if you want work life balance, freedom to pick where and when you work and have a chance to drive places that you choose then yes this job is brilliant!
Pros
Freedom to choose which jobs

Work ok pay poor
Vehicle Delivery Driver (Former Employee) - Birmingham - 24 March 2021
Picking cars and dropping them off. Fairly straightforward but needs a bit of experience in public transport in the UK. Driving to wherever from wherever and getting back again. It’s hard to make more than £60 a day. Driving a car twenty miles for £30 might seem ok. But when you need to travel 40 miles by bus to get there then another 40 miles back by public transport. Deduct £15 for bus and train and now you’re earning £2 or £3 per hour?
Pros
Flexible working
Cons
Poor end pay

Great job if you work hard & are very organised!
Trade Plate Driver (Current Employee) - Stafford, Staffordshire - 4 November 2020
Engineius provide an app-platform for you to work self-employed as a trade plate driver, you get to choose the jobs that appeal but you must logistically tie them in with other jobs to make it work. I have been working through Enginieius for over a year now & they have helped me enormously providing modules to learn the process, insurance to drive the vehicles along with trade plates to hire at a small cost of £30. The team at HQ are really positive & help with any problems that arise, it can be long hours but if your organised & a bit tech savvy then this can be a great great great job....even Donald Trump would enjoy it! Try it, you may just enjoy it as much as me.
Pros
Seeing the UK, excellent pay for the sector, drive different vehicles
Cons
Long hours, at times stressful meeting times of pick ups & drop offs, self employed so your responsible for HMRC etc etc
