Work-life balance

Assistant Manager in United Kingdom
on 12 November 2020
Enterprise is a very fast paced job role and you have to be very versatile. You also need to be very organised to be able to maintain a good work life balance. It can be stressful at times but the management pay is very rewarding if you are successful.
Management Trainee in North West
on 26 February 2021
Nasty place to work. Full of bully’s. If you have a voice don’t use it because they use it against you. Everyone is fake. Nice to your face, nasty behind closed doors. Make you come in before 7am sometimes and can work as late as midnight. They don’t care about your personal life. They have there favourites so no matter how hard you work they won’t recognise you. If you’re a yes man and loved being walked all over them you’ll love this place!

Fine for a filler
It is what it is. They have all the structures in place to tick the boxes but don't stray out or question. The team structure is a little childish as some of the miss sent emails showed. Keep your head down and hit targets it'll keep you going.
Management Scheme in Truro
on 20 August 2020
Working at Enterprise Rent-a-car
Joined the management scheme. The job was varied and the members of staff friendly but excessive hours 65 plus a week. You do not have a work-life balance it is work, work, work.
Assistant Branch Manager in Manchester
on 14 August 2020
Unethical and biased
Up until recently I was an Assistant Manager for the company, I got made redundant due to the so called "Covid" crisis. In my time at the company they preached about ethical practice and being honest etc, yet when you are ethical and honest, they don't want to know. I made a complaint to HR regarding a major unethical practice from a colleague that was placing my job under threat. The end result was that I got assurances that it would be investigated as the branch manager was also involved, HOWEVER, no investigation was undertaken, I was moved to a different branch then eventually released. The other people involved are still employed by the company and they turned a blind eye to it. This company was good to work for in the first 2 years of my job as they did take a lot of care of the staff, but that changed drastically and they saw staff as expendable. If one person leaves they have 20 waiting to replace that person! Area Managers promise you the world and all the help in the world, yet when you are desperate for that help, they are no where to be found and will ignore your phone calls. They promise you a work life balance but in reality they will make you work long hours with no overtime pay. If you happen to work at an airport location working the late shift, you will be expected to stay well past the midnight finish if a flight has been delayed. They promise to give you the time back but never do. Don't get me wrong, there are some good points as with any job, but there are few. This job is best suited to someone who is single, has no commitments and doesn't care about long hours. If you have a partner/family then I would not recommend working for this company as any well laid dinner plans would be out of the window, no matter what day you make them for!
