Eurostar was a great company (not anymore)

I was very lucky to work for Eurostar at the beginning. But gradually the company changed for the worst.Specially after the move to St Pancras. The current management is awful. No strategy whatsoever.More managers than staff. No sympathy for people with disability.Bully culture. To avoid absolutely.

Nope

Just good experience I really enjoy to worked on this position. Something I don’t really like is the first paid for the contract of “ 7hours “ being paid 2 months after is very difficult and more difficult for the people living in London. A little embarrassed and incomprehensible in relation to the advantages that EUROSTAR staff receive and us because we are a subcontracting company for EUROSTAR despite we wear the same uniform, we work in the same places, etc... we can't receive the same benefits. . . . .

Mentally draining

If you are looking to work in the CS sector, Eurostar is the complete wrong direction. The business cares for neither its customers, nor its staff. You have no freedom to assist customers, and you won't be granted any kind of authority for so much as a minor discount. Your voice isn't heard, but you're expected to be okay after taking a 20-minute phone call of berating and soul-destroying abuse.

Satisfactory work place

My experience at Eurostar was satisfactory, there was minimum support available which did not make the job any easier. Managers were not trained well to help members of staff which made it difficult to receive the required support.

fun workplace

it was fun to work at euro star meeting different people daily I learned that all work can be enjoyable as well as stressful hardest part of job dealing with difficult customers after a long day

Poor management culture and a lack of integrity

Decent benefits but a rather confused environment to work in. Poor management culture of blaming and penalising staff rather than resolving systemic issues. Most managers lack integrity and are there to look after themselves and trample on others to get where they need to get to.

fun workplace and god management

its a really good company to work for and the management is great. they are not too strict and they do offer opportunities yo younger people who need experience. it is a fun environment to work in and the job is not too difficult

Pros

Cons

long hours and the warhouse is quite big

Good brand but that's it...!

Decent benefits package but a really immature organisation. There is a lack of basic processes. Management pay lip service to changes but no real commitment. Very poor conduct from some senior managers who lack integrity and an have awful blame culture. Wouldn't recommended to my worst enemy.

Pros

Decent benefits

Cons

Lack of integrity in management team

Great Place to Work

Lots of support to develop and progress if you show willingness and tenacity. Great team culture with a keen focus on customer experience and putting the customer first

Nice workplace

It gave me great customer service experience and the culture in general was really good. The main reason why I left was because I din't want to work on a call centre anymore.
