Great people, collaborative approach, opinions are listened to
Manager (Current Employee) - Hertfordshire - 11 November 2021
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedEverest is a really interesting business with many different aspects to it and lots going on. The people are great, everyone helps each other out and there is interaction with many people throughout the company in addition to your own team. When you are asked for a piece of analysis or an opinion you know it will be seriously considered by senior management. All these things mean you really feel part of the business. It is never boring! Sometimes the amount of work means quite a few extra hours need to be put in.
Pros
Great people, interesting business, feel part of the Everest family
Cons
Back office systems need improvement, work-life balance isn't always great

No two days are the same
Manager (Current Employee) - Unknown - 28 October 2021
No two days at Everest are the same and it can be challenging at times but the business is heading in the right direction. There are lots of projects going on which means more of the business are collaborating together at all levels, producing high quality work in a fast-paced, enjoyable environment. The people who work here are very friendly and a joy to work with. I have been given the opportunity to develop my skills within my department over the years to further my career with the support of the senior team. I would recommend Everest as a good place to work.
Pros
Friendly people, Career and personal development, Projects to get involved in, Approachable senior team
Cons

Great place to work
Manager (Current Employee) - Cuffley, Hertfordshire - 21 March 2019
Everest is a great place to work. The people here are very friendly and supportive. Every day is different and they try to motivate staff in different ways. There is a handy canteen in Head Office and the vision to continue to strive to be the best is positive.
Pros
Friendly staff and supportive working environment

Used to be good
Manager (Current Employee) - United Kingdom - 30 October 2018
The company i joined many years ago is no longer the same. I really worry about the future for the business, quality has been replaced by speedy high expectations and low pay. The best should recruit, and pay the best but competitors strip us every time now and cannot attract and retain the best. The best product is no good not fitted well. The days of Everest being the place to be in the industry are unfortunately gone.
Pros
Various benefits
Cons
Very long hours and pressure, no recognition or support

Everest is great to work for
Middle manager (Current Employee) - Cuffley - 7 September 2016
I have worked for Everest for almost 13 years and admit it's hard work and each day comes with fresh challenges to overcome. However I have always been supported but also given space to develop and grow and make my own decisions, I work within a small team within Everest and it is a pleasure to come in to work each day.
The people at Everest make this a very welcoming company and for those with the right mind set who want to work hard and be recognised for their efforts and rewarded then this is the Company for you, here's to another 13 years.
Pros
Fun supportive environment with opportunity of progression
Cons
Long Hours but hard work is recognised
