Overall good company to work for

Indeed featured review

When I started with Everest as a sales rep there was a lot of training and guidance and I was lucky to have an excellent sales manager with years of industry experience to show me the ropes. Can be unsociable hours but great rewards and benefits not just for me but the wife aswell!

Pros

Great holidays and trips abroad

Cons

Unsociable hours

Work for free

AA manager will take all your opportunity to earn. THEY WILL TELL YOU YOU MUST LEARN MORE. You will be sent to leads where no chance to sell. Company trade like in 70' Trainers do not know the market at all.

Pros

Joke

Cons

Long hourse, Wasting time

High Turnover company

Not the greatest of companies I have worked for, advertised as flexible but they are not at all. For the most part it's all layout at your expense, driving to canvas areas that are new builds with brand new glazing anyway!

Work hard and you will be rewarded

Great company to work for, looks after you with good quality leads. Excellent training and sales management. Lots of incentives and prizes to be won for not just myself but my partner as well, we've benefitted from travelling to lots of luxury destinations. Work on a self employed basis so the money is completely uncapped, the harder you work the more you earn quite simply.

Pros

Holidays and prizes

Cons

Hard work

Don't expect a family life

If you are career focussed and interested in making money and don't have much of a social life then this for you. It is commission based and sales driven and heaven help you if you are below par.

Pros

Good commission and benefits

Cons

Irregular income and no basic, demanding, commission based

Don't Work for Everest

Everest will tell you that the laws do not apply to you as you are 'self employed'. THIS IS A LIE!You are an employee of a company and they have a law responsibility to pay you.I was hired to do a job. Once hired I was denied the same opportunities as the other employees on the team and was forced out of the job because of illegal management practices.DO NOT BELIEVE A WORD THEY SAY!

Pros

fresh air and free coffee

Cons

no pay

Poor attitude against sales reps

I used to be a door to door rep with everest and its impossible to make money because in reality you are selling consumers overpriced windows and doors where you can get them cheaper elsewhere!they never paid for any fuel costs i incurred and as its commission only... its all luck based! The only good thing is that they paid for my trip to learn about sales in bury and i learnt a lot from there but overall, this is not a job! its slave labour as you never get paid!

Pros

experience

Cons

never get paid!

Door to door sales rep

Commission only so never received any money towards petrol to different areas of work and to Carlisle (for training every Wednesday over 140 miles round trip), only good thing was the training before you got the job.In a nutshell, if you have spare cash and can sell overpriced items to people who have already have double glazing plus you could get same quality elsewhere cheaper, then good luck!

Pros

training

Cons

commission only so no chance of getting paid
