To help prepare the team for one of the busiest days of the year, our Evri Business Partner at the Brislington delivery unit, Jose Alonso, provided a breakfast feast for all our employees and self-employed couriers. The team enjoyed some delicious food to prepare them for a busy day of parcel deliveries.
Careers
Welcome to Evri.
Every parcel, every person, every place – every delivery made for you.
Evri is leading the way in creating responsible delivery experiences for everyone, everywhere. And we’re doing that by offering the most convenient way to send, receive and return parcels without costing the earth.
But we wouldn’t be the biggest dedicated parcel delivery company in the UK without amazing people. We’re a friendly, ambitious and diverse bunch, united by a passion for delivering the best customer experience. We have great opportunities throughout the business, so take a look to see where you might fit in. We can’t wait to hear from you.
Our Values
Evri is built on four core values that shape everything we do and how we do it, every day.
Do the right thing – for our people, our communities and our planet.
Celebrate cost leadership – know your numbers and invest in our future.
Be dynamic – dare to be different, seize opportunities and, above all, own it.
Deliver for customers – understand them, always strive to go the extra mile and care for every parcel, one delivery at a time.
Learning and Development
We invest heavily in our colleagues to align their personal development and career progression with our business growth. We have in place a number of training and talent development programmes, internal coaching opportunities, and first-rate apprenticeship and graduate schemes to find fresh talent. Whether you want to upskill, gain a qualification or explore fresh opportunities and challenges, why not do it with us.
Head Office
Every kind of role…
As Evri grows, our range of potential roles increases – especially in head office, which is split across two sites in Leeds. Here you’ll find a wide variety of roles – so if you’re a people person, you could work in talent acquisition, development or employee relations in HR. Or maybe numbers are your thing, in which case our finance department is for you. Or there’s marketing, PR, sales, ac-count managers, international deliveries, customer services… every kind of role for every type of person.
Locations and benefits
We’re located in Leeds and easily commutable from Manchester, Sheffield, York and Bradford. Our headquarters on the outskirts of the city, in Morley, is easily accessible from the M62, while our city centre Tech Hub is a five minutes’ walk from Leeds train station – which is just over two hours from London Kings Cross. Once you’re here, we offer flexible and hybrid working as standard, up to 26 days holiday, realistic bonuses and a flexible benefits programme offering personalised dis-counts galore.
Culture and values
We have the scale and the technology, but our business wouldn’t be what it is without people. Evri invests in colleagues to nurture, develop and empower them in an environment where talent thrives. Combining the benefits of being an industry-leading business with the best bits of start-up culture, we encourage ownership of work and value collaboration across our diverse, dynamic teams. Rec-ognising our impact on the planet, we’re also committed to placing environmental and ethics strate-gies in every colleague’s objectives.
Hubs and Depot Operations
Hubs and depots
Our expanding hub and depot network is crucial to keeping Evri on the road and ensuring the safe, responsible delivery of 700million+ parcels a year. Our hard-working, talented colleagues in this area adapted quickly and helped build capacity to handle the dramatic increase in parcel volume we’ve seen over the last couple of years. We want to hear from people interested in engineering, logistics and warehouse work. There are roles at all levels, from apprenticeships to management. It can be physically demanding work, but it’s rewarding too, with lots of variety, a supportive work-place and opportunities for career development.
Drivers
From ParcelShop vans to LGV Cat C/C&E lorries, there are lots of driving roles available. We interested in people who want to help us move parcels around the UK on time, all the time. We’re also keen to develop a pipeline of talented drivers at Cat C and Cat C&E levels, and our Road to Logistics scheme, open to existing staff and external applicants with no LGV experience, is helping us achieve that.
Management
Keeping our customers happy is a priority at Evri, which means taking care to get every parcel to the right place at the right time is critical. Our operations teams go the extra mile to make it happen. With an extensive range of roles available in our hubs and depots, there are great opportunities for career progression. Evri is a proud investor in people and successful candidates can take ad-vantage of the many training and talent schemes available.
Technology
Every opportunity
Exciting tech underpins a lot of what Evri does, so it’s a great time to join our award-winning IT teams whatever your level of experience. We use cutting-edge technology to improve the customer experience, whether that’s someone sending one or several parcels via our website, app or their local ParcelShop, or supporting a major retail brand on their own journey. There are many opportunities available, including engineers, developers, analysts, UX gurus and product managers.
Innovation
The results of our investment in tech can be seen in the innovative products and services we offer. There are many things you might be working on. There’s our ever-evolving mobile app, for exam-ple, which is always being updated with new features. We’re also using augmented reality to personalise parcels and developing a range of new delivery systems. With a pipeline of fresh innovations in place, we research and develop in-house, allowing us to build apps to test new business models and quickly react to market changes.
Culture
We encourage diversity and our tech teams have a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. We actively promote agile working and are particularly proud to showcase women in tech. We’re bold and progressive, and with our hybrid working model we want to hear from you no matter where you’re based. And when you do want to come in, check out our Leeds city centre Tech Hub, which offers a flexible working space for collaboration or areas for quiet working, and breakout zones where we host hackathons, workshops and other events.
Delivery Operations
Self-employed couriers
Our couriers have always been crucial to the business and are often the first person a customer sees at point of delivery. Every parcel delivered, every smile… we’re always looking for friendly couriers to deliver in their local area. While you’re your own boss, meaning you can enjoy flexible working hours that suit you, you’ll also have the support and guidance of an experienced field man-ager. You can expect competitive earnings, a blend of digital and face-to-face learning and union recognition.
Community and regional delivery managers
We’re also looking for field managers to oversee our growing network of couriers. If you’re a natural problem solver, committed to outstanding customer service and an excellent communicator, this might be for you. It’s fast-paced and challenging work, but also rewarding and exciting as no two days are ever the same and there are lots of opportunities for career progression.
