At Lainston House in 2017 I didn't feel very welcome by the permanent staff and was expected to know exactly what to do straight away. Most of the staff aren't that friendly and quite cliquey. If you stay there for longer than I did you might get in there with the staff and they might treat you with more respect and if you're older as well.
