You need to get rid of seniors who think they own the home however don’t really know what care is about. Some staff you wouldn’t employ on sight.
Exemplar is a brilliant place to work just improve the induction time when I started it was 2 week induction and it was in depth this still should of followed on instead of shorter weeks and shadowing I think 2 weeks at the most makes people more confident the more training they have
Better and more focused training with regard to the types of mental illnesses you'd be working with.
Training tailored towards specific units rather than a "general" same training for everyone
Better management. Put the service user first and not profit.
Pay carers and activities a better rate of pay and treat staff better. You might retain staff then if they feel valued
Bring in more activities staff to help give the service users more entertainment.
