Employ senior management who understand your business. Too many 'sales' based managers across the business focused entirely on revenue above all else. As a result Experian lacks a cohesive strategy, investment road maps, etc. Used to be a great and innovative company until flotation when greed took over.
Clear guidelines, communication of needs and changes and make everyone sing off the same Hyme sheet, realise your staff are the cogs and need looking after, business needs yes but don't forget to look after your staff
Create great leaders - yes it is a cost but the benefits outweigh any negative to the baseline.

I wouldnt have made 2 team redundant which is going to ruin the service at experian and the clients wont be happy
