Was great to work there
Office 365 Onboarding Concierge Specialist (remote, USA) (Former Employee) - Remote - 20 January 2023
This was an enjoyable company to work for. I learned a lot on the job, and was provided training material almost every two weeks. The pay and benefits were fair for a 365 job, and matched the broad range of products we had to support and the deep knowledge required to do so. Customers had the option to rate us on a scale of 1-5 stars, which provided feedback and allowed managers to coach others if needed. This was very much a quality over quantity job. (I worked there 5 years ago for the O365 Concierge team, so this is an old assessment)

Shocking culture and 0 work life balance
Recruitment Consultant (Former Employee) - Edinburgh - 10 May 2022
No work life balance, recruiters expected to work over and above their contracted hours or they would not continue to be employed. You are looked down upon for taking days off or taking lunch breaks. Toxic culture which is all about money rather than quality of work or being decent people and no mental health support.

Stressful, underappreciated workers
Contractor Care Representative (Former Employee) - Altrincham - 17 September 2021
A lot of stress, a lot expected from its workers whilst at the same time not appreciating them. The pay scale does not reflect the amount of work expected. Workers errors are counted which is stressful and means that staff morale is low.

Terrible place to work
Principal Recruiter (Former Employee) - Altrincham - 20 October 2020
Honestly, do not waste your time working here, dinosaur systems and no real in house database. Senior recruiter roles are 90% admin and you have to jump through hoops to get people onboarded.

None
Cons
Everything about the role.

Fast Paced - Collaborative - Good Commission Structure
Recruitment Consultant (Current Employee) - Altrincham, Greater Manchester - 30 January 2020
Fast paced environment which keeps the work interesting and varied. Very collaborative team with everyone willing to help, provide and share best practices. A clear career path set-out as soon as I joined, with realistic goals/targets to achieve progression. Plenty of opportunities/tools to develop myself and supportive management team to encourage and push you. Good commission structure compared to previous roles.

Fast Paced, Motivated Environment!
Recruiter (Current Employee) - Altrincham, Greater Manchester - 30 January 2020
You'll celebrate successes and work closely with management to learn on areas of improvement to achieve the team and individual goals - not an unattainable KPI driven environment.
Sector experience not essential as training and development opportunities provided, both on the job mentoring and internal workshops etc. Management promote a strong collaborative culture where you succeed and learn together!

Great place to work - really supportive
Delivery Manager (Current Employee) - Altrincham, Greater Manchester - 30 January 2020
Having been with Experis now for 5 years I can honestly say it is the business organisation I have worked for. I have the support of my management, the autonomy to make my own decisions and the support and flexibility required for family life.
I have developed consistently from day one - seeing my position in the business rise over time. There is a great culture in the business - not just the office. One of collaboration and togetherness. You really feel part of the family.
The roles I have held have all offered their own challenges, but I have always felt confident either I can overcome them, or supported to achieve this. Never have I felt overwhelmed by them.
If you are looking for a job - Experis is a great place to look!!

Mismanaged
Recruiter (Former Employee) - Altrincham, Greater Manchester - 16 January 2020
The work was fast paced and clients varried however shortly after starting our team leader became distant and the team morale was low. The roles became repetitive and difficult, especially as a relatively new inexperienced resourcer.
Pros
Easy public transport connections.
Cons
Management see you as a number.

Great company to be a part of...
Security vetting administrator (Former Employee) - Telford, Shropshire - 3 September 2018
Experis is a great company to work for. Your made to feel like a valued part of the company, with plenty of opportunities to expand on your career.
You are integrated as part of a team with plenty of support and encouragement along the way.

Account Manager at Experis
Account Manager - IBM (Former Employee) - St. Pauls - 23 June 2017
Busy and well run IT recruitment company. I learned a lot about IT skills, job roles, niche skills and contracts from Experis.
The hardest part of my roles within Experis where that they were initially challenging and eventually the duties became monotonous.

Busy environment
Core Agent Customer Services - GE Healthcare (Current Employee) - Chalfont St. Giles, ENG - 28 November 2014
Typical day is answering incoming calls from Customer to log faults, pricing and availability and any other queries they may have.
Calls from Field Engineers accepting jobs we paged them for and booking parts against jobs. Engineers ordering parts for their Tooling use.
Customers chasing orders they have not received and sorting out disputes if necessary.
Loading orders received via the Service Inbox.
My colleagues and Management are very easy to get on with and fun to be around
The hardest part of the job is when employees are off sick and the number of increase due to one or more persons being off. Calls we take are anything from 35 to 68 calls per day.
Most enjoyable part is the friendly and fun people I work with.
Pros
Subsurdise Meals
Cons
Shift patterns

Terrible Management
Trainee Recruiter (Former Employee) - Altrincham - 9 May 2014
I was originally very excited to work for Experis as I was looking to get started within the recruitment industry and a trainee recruiter position became available.
After my interview I was contacted shortly after informing me that I had the job, however it took weeks before they would take any of my calls or confirm a start date, making it difficult to arrange notices to prepare for this new job. Eventually I was contacted last minute informing me of my start date only a few days before I was due to start.
But this was only the beginning, unfortunately after 2 weeks working there I became ill and was unable to work for a short period of time to recover my health. I apologised to my manager and informed that my Doctor had advised to take a week off, my manager originally agreed, telling me to take the rest of the week off to recover.
When I came back in after recovering, I was taken aside by my manager demanding to know where I had been (despite telling me to take the week off), they demanded hospital forms and evidence of being hospitalised, I provided sick notes and evidence from my Doctor regarding being ill, but my manager said it wasn't good enough and wanted hospital notes, I told them as I had not been hospitalised, I did not have these documents. They told me that I had been lying to them about being ill, and that they did not like my work manner and my manager went so far as to say she did not like ME as a person and she did not want me working for her anymore, when I continued to explain that I was not able to produce hospital documents, only documents from -

Approach on the business..
Associate / Sr. Managing Consultant (Former Employee) - Divers locations - 30 December 2013
I have been working as a consultant/contractor for some years and I am use to the flexibility of the concept. Part of my job is to support others, help where possible to follow a good structure in achieving a project, share my experience and my view on procurement issues. Learn the business, compare it in a complex situation and use all the tools available in a correct manner. Without being specific, I have enjoyed the most that everybody understands the whole case at the end, not only my co-workers but the whole team including our client. It is the team effort, being on the same page with everybody contributing, that give the satisfaction.
