Reviews for Consultant at EY
Good on CV, lack of enjoyable work
Graduate Consultant (Current Employee) - United Kingdom - 11 January 2023
There’s no doubt that will do well having the name on your cv, and the qualifications with assurance and tax. However, as a consultant who has moved from STEM, I found that most of the work done could be simplified, and is made to sound complex by corporate jargon, which is likely true of the overall industry (FS). You may find a difference in other service lines (more tech focused) but I find the work in business consulting rather dull.

Great workplace but not my cup of tea
Consultant (Former Employee) - London, Greater London - 27 April 2022
Worked as a consultant. Everyone in the office was bright, professional and helpful. Management was great too, vacations and days off, as well as work from home, was never a problem. It’s just the nature of work and clients and lack of flexibility in thinking of the stakeholders involved that limited sense of purpose in everyday work.
