You never get your placement within FDM. You'd be working for their client. FDM is just an agency which sells you out to their clients. If you're placed in Norwich for Aviva, you relocate to Norwich, if that's what you want, its entirely up to you as you how you choose to live / get to your placement as long as you're there.
There's no guarantee of a role in London if you train at London bridge, it depends entirely on client need and where the jobs are. You have to be proactive in 'seducing' account managers to give you a shot for your desired role, make your name and face known and approach them first, don't wait for them to approach you or you'll likely end up somewhere you don't want to be / be forced into it because you're a lowly graduate and don't get a say in these matters.
