Refuse Driver in Glenrothes, Fife

Good work life balance.
It's a no bad workplace the 4 on 4 off gives me a decent work and home life balance with the option for overtime. The only issue I have is the salary for a refuse driver is pretty poor and you have to be with the company for five years to get full increments and a extra weeks holiday.

Ok if you do what you are told regardless if it is right or wrong
I thought this was a great place to work for years. Then when you dare to speak up about bad practice, be aware. They will cover up any wrong doing and you are on your own if you won’t abide to the cover up. Loads of unethical going’s on but no one is willing to speak up when the chips are down. I really don’t know how some people sleep at night.
Cleaner. Catering assistant in Fife

Work as a casual
Difficult at times to get shifts as a casual worker but the organisation is professional. The trading is excellent and new e-learning modules have to be done and most are mandatory.
Economic Adviser in Glenrothes, Fife

Typically bureaucratic with cynical following of the letter of good practice without sincerity
Good for those who want to keep their head down and get paid. Not for someone who really wants to help FifersManagement cares more about how they appear than how they perform
Casual Catering and Cleaning Assistant in Glenrothes

A nice place to work at (Catering and Cleaning Assistant)
I started there from high school work experience but they liked me and offered me to start working there. I was working casually (they called me when they needed me) and the overall work was not too hard, it was just tougher for me because I'm foreign and my english wasn't the best + it was my first job. The staff was usually nice and sometimes in quiet times we shared fun stories. In my opinion wage was great, I received £9.07 per hour as a 16 year old. I had induction period where they showed me how to work equipment, the toughest part for me was working with money and working with the till.
