Not worth
Bus Driver (Current Employee) - Aberdeen, Aberdeen City - 24 November 2023
Not worth at all for that payment, and company doing nothing for you. Shifts are so bad, in one week you can have early, middle and late. No time on rutes. To much stress for very small payment.

I've worked for first for over 5 years
Driver (Current Employee) - Colchester, Essex - 3 November 2023
First say they are inclusive and that they help promote a good work life balance but they don't. There rotas are ridiculous and the timings on your duty have got worse. There is no general pay structure throughout the company so one area will be paid over £15 an hour and another will be paid up too £3 less. Its a very male oriented role and if your part of the lgbtq collective then be prepared for some homophobia in you career. And higher up management don't really give a dam about you as long as you are ok to drive a bus with basic training and route knowledge. And if you have an accident they instead of understanding what caused it they pull you in too a formal meeting and give you a warning. And the vehicles are poorly maintained they leak through the roof they break down constantly and your left with angry passengers to deal with because the engineers don't care
Pros
Free travel card
Cons
Long days

If you wanna work in a place where you are a number and nothing else go here
PCV Bus Driver (Former Employee) - Bath - 31 October 2023
Overtime always available to anyone who isn’t employed by first I.e agency drivers who are paid more than you anyway. Managers couldn’t possibly do any less for you. Hardest part of the job was finding a manager. Workplace culture was if you can’t work that shift tough it’s what you’ve been given, unless you are one of the favourites then you get what you want always.
Pros
Free travel cheap train tickets canteen ability to earn £800 per week
Cons
Managers, certain T.C’s certain Inspectors, lots of snakes who pretend to be your friend but stab you in the back

PSV Bus Driver (Former Employee) - Leicester - 28 October 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? I’m not doing service work, but airport work. So I’m happy. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Working nights for the same pay as days. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? The few people I see, it’s OK. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Fine, to and from a car park, in a bus!

PCV relief operations supervisor (Current Employee) - Fareham, Hampshire - 22 October 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Colleagues are amazing. Benefits are great. Pay is good. No day is the same. Full training given which is fantastic. Its like a big family What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The job is only as stressful as you make it. If you are happy and helpful the customers are to. There is always that one but just don't let it get to you What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Brilliant. There is good banter you can always have a laugh. We respect others religions. We have a nice canteen What is a typical day like for you at the company? Up at 3 in work for 4. I always get in early to have a cuppa and a chat then out on the road watching other road users do stupid things. I genuinely love my job and the people I work with

Gone to the dogs, not a good place to work.
Engineering (Former Employee) - Bristol - 3 October 2023
Management really don't care, as long as their boxes are ticked and the figures look good. To the company you are just another payroll number. Job security is there, so don't worry about having to go above and beyond, there's no need, you'll still going to get paid. Would sooner sign on than ever work there again and I did 9 years.
Pros
Do what you like with little consequences
Cons
People, management, company direction
