How did you feel about telling people you worked at First UK Bus?

I would tell if having a competition on the most depressing job, you’ll win hands down.

I dont tell anyone where I work far too embarrassed

Never again will I work for this company I was treated like something stuck on their shoes with working very long hours and split shifts. Most of the vehicles have seen better days always breaking down. The management are very 2 faced won’t think twice of stabbing you in the back

I have worked for first as a driver for over 20 years and I am ashamed to tell anyone I work for them. Shockingly, its getting much worse. Don't bother joining. You will regret it. 2019 now and feels like 1999. Very poor quality of life.

I still driving buses for First and still enjoying it I start back in 90s left and been back and I'm happy , as experience with trying different jobs I realized any job you get there are always up and downs . First, if you do right is a job for life.

Worked for firstbus in London,so working at any other bus company up north must be more enjoyable than the abuse I had to endure....

They expect you to work long long days for nothing. Don't do it

If you are single and not too bothered about a social life. Go for it. Dont if you have wife/girlfriend kids and like to have a bit of a social life. There are a lot of devorceees on the buses.
