Great place to work bus driver Leeds
Driver (Former Employee) - Leeds - 21 September 2021
I would recommend this place as a bus driver .Loads off overtime and option to work a 4 day rota or 5 and other options too.Training is intense you have to pass the bus test for the company to employ you but the trainers are awesome and know there stuff .You know where you are and it was good to plan my life around my rota Was based at Bramley depo breakfasts were great just need to be a good time keeper and make sure your level of driving is good as you can kill someone With the size of vehicle your driving .If you like working alone none on your back this is a job for you .
Pros
Good training
Cons
Alone at night .dodgy passengers

A forward thinking company
Train Driver (Former Employee) - Sheffield, UK - 25 March 2018
This was a good place to work. A safety conscious company who made their staff feel valued. They listened to any concerns and acted accordingly. An echo friendly company who recognised Ingenuity which was positivity encouraged and rewarded.
Pros
Free travel
Cons

better than expected
Driver (Current Employee) - Bridgend, Bridgend - 21 August 2017
Always rushing as the planned routes don't allow enough time to board all the passengers. Rest days are different every week, that's fine but when you try and plan something for your day off in two or three weeks the rota changes and plans go up in smoke. Also new employees get paid £1-2 less than everyone else for doing the same job and also have more unpaid breaks meaning longer shifts for less money. There is the odd driver who will tell you all passengers are horrible and abusive but to be fair they probably lack sufficient social skills as in personal experience if respect is shown it is also received. Controllers are mostly helpful but be prepared as no question will receive a straight answer. Oh and dont give out your phone number or you'll never get a lay in again.
Pros
free travel, discounted rail tickets, good colleagues
Cons
long hours, unsociable shift patterns, pay gap
