I had a great time working at Footlocker, made alot of friends and created fantastic customer relations, where in certain cases the customers would come in just to be served by myself due to good customer service.
I see a lot of dramatic reviews on here slating companies, unfortunately I felt inclined to give feedback on what a utter joke this company is. From the managers to the people who continuously make mistakes with the wages, managers who have been trained to be robotic and see their staff as nothing but walking pound signs and treat them in an extremely two faced manor, the only positive is that you have a bit of staff discount. I'd recommend anyone to avoid this company unless you want to be constantly nagged to hassle the general public and be constantly watched on CCTV.
Pros
Staff discount
Cons
management, wages, ethics
eat place to work, a little hectic during busy periods. Commission scheme is good, maybe a little low for the workload and amount of sales needed to be made for a good rate of monthly commission. Progression can be quite slow if you're looking to work your way up in the company. An ideal first job or part time job whilst studying as it's a fun environment to work with when you have a good team instore.
Pros
a wide array of customers, Staff discount
Cons
busy periods are seasonal, Competitive, Communication
Mi had the best of times there it was so amazing I learnt so much in my time there and hope to show my skills and qualities in my role in another position
it is an amazing place to work with amazing colleagues but sometimes they dont take into consideration your social life, they want you to put aside everything and make foot locker a priority
Was enjoyable working here! Lots of targets to be met, very busy and friendly staff. Pay is terrible and the pros do not outweigh this. The discount of trainers was nice.
Bulling and individual competition is what I suffer. The store itself means nothing comparing to individual performance. Good people as Main Managers in north region but not assistant managers andnstore managers
Pros
Staff discount
Cons
Competitive
. Grosse compétition
. Beaucoup d'objectifs
. Stress

Is Indeed your favorite place to learn about companies?
I learned a lot there. I was working as a seller and cashier. My team was great. I learn so many skills, about the check-out, selling technics, teamwork....
Targets to meet, fast paced.
Shifts can be quite long, breaks should be implicated because you cant sit down on the shop floor. Needs to be less pressure on sales associates in smaller stores.
The mangement wasn’t great when i was working there. Furthermore some of the workers were persuaded to work extra hours which i didn’t like. Many workers left the job for again the lack of management
Treated very badly. Lack of training and praise from management. Negative atmosphere. They focus on negatives constantly and never positives. Very draining place to work
Great place to work, a little hectic during busy periods. Commission scheme is good, maybe a little low for the workload and amount of sales needed to be made for a good rate of monthly commission. Progression can be quite slow if you're looking to work your way up in the company. Amazing place to work, would love to get the opportunity to work here again. Amazing staff and excellent company values. I also loved the opportunities available here, a lot of chance to progress.
A good workplace and can be very rewarding as earnings are commision based so during the busier periods good money can be made. Also constantly being in cotanct with customers especiaaly a variety as the shop is based in the city centre which is surrounded by many universities enables you to develop a diverse aaproach to cater to all.
Pros
a wide array of customers
Cons
busy periods are seasonal
Fast paced working environment
Hard work with a lot of task works
High targets KPIS , conversion etc
High pressure environment
Great to meet different people
working as a christmas temp cashier in one of the busiest stores. was a very bad experience for me as I was working very long hours and doing a lot of closing shifts. even if your shift finishes at 10 you will have to stay until 11. working 11 hours on boxing day I was only given 45 minute break after being lied to about receiving two breaks. the pay is awful
Was very good company starting out in first 5 years, kept things with tradition , American tradition until too many changes took place and no longer was about hard work but who you knew in business in order to progress.
