Work is as scheduled.I've learned a lot about Healthcare because of exposure to different sites/homes.Management is diligent and fair.The workplace culture is friendly but efficient. The hardest part of the job is working shifts that are far from my home.The most enjoyable part is that I know what I'll be paid, and when I'll be paid always.

Fun, relaxed and productive workplace

It is an enjoyable day where you get to learn on how to care and learning different characters. Some clients are complicated but its enjoyable as you meet different people everyday.

Paid even to walk from one client to another.

Worked for fosse 3 times as I left to spread my wings but I'm working back as its a good company to be honest . Pays is always on time and no need to have to keep a note of it as you get paid for what you work

Satisfactory and rewarding career

I’ve worked for Fosse for about a year now. They have a very supportive team management, flexible with staff, and rewarding career. It’s nice to meet colleagues and staff from different working premises. I feel very welcomed by my colleagues, and the residents are lovely. Thank you😊

Fosse healthcare is a very good reliable company to work for, there is always work available and are very very flexible when it comes to working around your lifestyle.Every company have there ups and downs but when things are sorted it runs smoothly, I enjoy helping service users daily they make me happy and I hope I make them happy after helping them with there daily tasks, I have learnt a lot while working at fosse healthcare and still learn new things daily. Most office staff are very helpful and help when things are raised to a % when spoken to the right coordinators,weekly pay is always very good in a job fosse offer weekly pay and monthly if that’s your preference and I would recommend fosse to others

I've been working with Fosse Healthcare for over six months. I have gained plenty of transferrable skills during this period that I believe would help me to reach a high level of competency within healthcare role.These include genuine empathy and greater understanding of safeguarding the vulnerable patients, excellent communication skills, excellent teamwork capabilities and also positive attitude to my work and towards life in general.

Helping others be happy in their own homes helping with every day to day tasks. The job is very rewarding. The office staff help me when I need time off because of childcare and hours are flexible.

It’s a work place

The service users are amazing, the office staff are okay and since new management it has been better. However, the long hours can be draining and they will put you wherever. They’re not bothered what area you’re in, they will put you in multiple different areas

Good agency to work for

Shifts are always available at the time that suits you. The owner of the company is a nice person to work for, the reason is that when I used to work weekends for example Sundays buses don’t start to run till 8am and that’s when my shift ended and would want to go and get some sleep. The owner of the company will come and pick me up and drop me close to my house.

Unacceptably long working hours unacceptably long journeys to work

The entire care system is based upon carers being required to work incredibly long, antisocial hours. It relies upon carers, usually women, being prepared to travel long distances early in the morning and dangerously late hours at night. It should not be acceptable for any employer to expect women carers, to walk or drive alone late at night to service users' homes. The care system is based upon such unacceptably dangerous work conditions.

The camaraderie of fellow workers. The satisfaction of helping the elderly and vulnerable.

Cons

Exposure to dangerous working conditions, solitary female workers expected to walk or drive, late at night, to and from homes or service users' properties

I've worked for fosse Healthcare for one year lovely company to work for office staff absolutely great all ways there for you plenty of training available very good pay always plenty of shifts available I like the flexibility being able to choose shifts to fit around my family just amazing company to work for..

Been with this company for 6 months enjoy the and they always have many shifts available that suits your availability. The pay is very competitive. I tend to pick few shifts whenever I’m free, extra money really!

A good company to work for. Up to you how many days you want to work. Always different shift patterns available. Never had a problem with working for fosse. Working for Fosse gives me a good work/life balance that works for me.I enjoy going to different care homes whether for the elderly or learning disability. One day is never the same.The management are always there if need any help or advice.

I have worked with Fosse Healthcare for nearly a year and I really enjoy it….. I have a strong bond with the service users and my shifts work perfect for me and my children. Management try there hardest to meet my needs and always are there if I need to talk. All in all I love my job

I started with Fosse at the start of the pandemic. I absolutely loved my job. There were constant changes in management and the office and my visits would change within minutes. I realised after a while I was down as a passenger not a walker for a whole year so I was underpaid. Then I found out that if you log in to your next call any later than 30 minutes then this is considered a break and you do not get paid. I was sent on up to 60 minute walks to visits with only 5 minutes to do so. I finally figured that out and realised that’s why my pay didn’t quite match up to the hours I spent walking around from one end of town to the other. As much as I loved the job I just couldn’t see how this was fair and I couldn’t financially make this job work. I was absolutely gutted I had to leave. I loved looking after all my service users and I miss the job dearly.

Rude and unprofessional

Like you tend to see with a majority of healthcare providers, they are unprepared, unprofessional and only care about profit. The way they treat both staff and potential candidates shows this. Ghosted or ignored when sending emails or wanting assistance.
