Good for a care company.
I had an overall positive experience, have the same issues as most care companies i.e. minimum wage and poor work life balance. Was fortunate to have a supportive manager and team leader who seemed to care about the clients and staff.

Great place , supportive and inclusive
Only worked for Foxglove for a short time , however it has been refreshing to be involved in such a person centred organisation . Made to feel welcome Overall a company who listen and support you to express your ideas

Not A Good Company To Work For
When you first start employment everyone makes you feel welcome. Depending on the service you end up working at, this soon changes. If your not one of the favourites doing everything your expected to do, even if it's a colleagues work. You soon know about it. Your left out of things. Given the bad jobs + clients to work with. Get little or no support from manager or team leader. If you complain your a trouble causer. No work/home life balance. Your expected to cover nearly every weekend. So get no time for your self or family. Your just expected to jump when told to. Manager + colleagues gossip I office and if you need something they stop talking, making it clear your not to be included. Best thing I did was leave. Would not recommend this company at all.

Depends which service you work at
If you're willing to give your home life up, then you'll be fine working at Foxglove Care. As you're expected to work every weekend, and if you refuse, you'll be up in front of the manager, getting a grilling. There is definitely no work/ homelife balance. But if your face doesn't fit, you'll k know about it. As you'll be used, left out of things, get all the bad shifts and clients to work with. Depending on which service you work at, you'll get no support from managers or team leaders. Who have their own favourites.
