my partner worked for this company at a local waste recycling centre and was told every week would be a full weeks work. he had to be there at 6am and regularly got up at 4.30 to get a phone call cancelling that days work. he was lucky to get three days per week. its a shame as he liked the job. however they continually advertise knowing there is going to be limited work. misleading people.
Since registering for work I have been given lots of job opportunities, same for my friends who have registered there. The staff in the branch in Hull are very friendly and helpful. I have always been paid correctly and on time and if I have questions they have been answered. I don't understand the review left by someone saying bad things about the staff there. They are good to me and my friends.
Pros
Plenty of regular work
uncultured and unprofessional. They show contempt for employees and are very aggressive. I do not recommend to anyone. This is the worst agency I've worked with in my life
The first week they acted really nice but as the months went on they did not help at all! if you ask them a question about pay or holiday they will try and drag it out for as long as possible, as-well as telling you, you have work the next day but then you find out you don’t when you turn up ( this happened to me about 5 times in the space of 3 months) . The pay is awful for the work you do. I would not recommend applying for any jobs with this agency to my worst enemy. They are the most unprofessional company to work for they will send you (x) after texts and emojis, don’t know if it’s to make you feel like they like you or not .
Pros
Nothing
Cons
Everything about this company
if you're after a job in the hopes you will get paid then don't bother with frontline. Me and my partner were placed in a great workplace that we enjoyed but frontline seem at all times hesitant to pay on time, correctly or even at all. If you like spending your nights working and your days constantly ringing the office begging to get paid, as they've either not paid you or paid you 10 hours for a 40 hour week (as they will continue to either be condescending or sweet talk their way out of paying you till "maybe the next paycheck"),then this is the job for you. honestly they made out to us at first that we were the only ones, we wasn't at all as all the frontline staff were missing pay, so then they made out it was the employing group despite the fact all staff from other agencies were paid promptly and correctly each week. for the sake of your sanity avoid at all costs.
Pros
decent job for volunteering
Cons
no pay
I had a job within 1 week, which was great, but that's the last positive thing I can tell about the agency. I enjoyed working for their client, but won't go back there again as it would mean signing contract with Frontline again. I didn't have a proper contract for my assignment, there is no chance you will get same pay after 12 weeks (You get more rights once you've worked on the same assignment at the same hiring organisation for 12 weeks. This is called the '12-week minimum qualifying period' under the law), they will postpone your pension scheme until very possible end and if you are not good at your rights, you don't know you can ask to be enrolled sooner, anyway they won't pay as stated in email from pension company. Prepare to always ask about your holiday balance (and hear different answers), no one will be able to explain how this is counted. Just be careful, because people are nice to you and will tell you nice things on first day.
I work at a warehouse but got told it was labourering so wrong job to start of gave it ago didn’t so I left and i have never been paid for it and all u get of them is they anit got ur hours and they will try and get them and still nothing of them don’t waste ur time with them
Pros
None
Cons
Don’t get paid
Good sense of team Manager has your back To a good degree you can pick and choose hours to an extent I will say this. The harder you work, the more they will help and work with you. Usual territory of long hours but then that goes with the territory . Haven't been disappointed yet
*Staff in the office don’t care about you, they will waste your time. *On phone they tell you to come for interview and view jobs but once in the office they’ll just give you paperwork to fill and send you away. *I strongly encourage not to have interaction with this agency. Poor poor service
Pros
Kind on phone but in reality it’s all the way round
Cons
Poor poor service, unprofessional, love wasting your time
Due to my rant and complaning about not being paid furlough money. It has come to light that Frontline were not responsible, but it was down to the payroll company to sort out,I can only apologize if I have offended anybody at Frontline as I've always found them a decent company. This error on my part was due to the lack of response from the payroll company,
Pros
Good company
Cons
None so far
We want to help you find great companies. Help us be the best!
Do these reviews help you learn more about working at Frontline Recruitment?
friendly staff very helpful and problems you could call or visit the site and problems would be resovled there indction method was pretty user friendly suing a ipad to register
Great job at a great place FLT driving, unfortunately this was let down by the sheer lack of organisation and bad attitudes at the agency.
Initially asked what shifts you'd like, to not actually get them !? Being given days off then moaned at because you can't go into a shift an hour before it's due to start on said day off. Being told several times and expecting you'd be doing hours that are changed last minute to far less so managing and organising any bills or outgoings becomes impossible.
Then they have the nerve to keep advertising the job yet insist there are no shifts, absolute shambles !!
Monkeys running the circus.
This is a great company to work for they are understanding and fair and work around your individual needs would highly recommend to people with families
Having worked for Frontline for 4 years i can honestly say its the best recruiter i have ever worked for both through on going support and fantastic bonuses for delivery.
Pros
Fleixble working
Stay well away from this place, I’ve worked for them a couple of times, been trying for weeks to get my holiday pay, and like usual I’m being fobbed off again, people in office are an absolute joke, terrible at paying you wages and money owed, stay well clear of this agency!
Pros
Zero pros
Cons
Lots of cons
They look after their staff really well and are supportive. They offer great opportunities both temporary or permanent. Offer flexible working times and salary.
After joining this recruitment agency I started for as a welding fabricator but they didn't want a welding fabricator they wanted someone to sweep out the welding bays, clean the toilets that are disgusting as the full time cleaner just wipes a pi**ed up mop ever were. Despite informing the recruitment agency or complaining they have a poor management system and never take action for there employees behalf. In the end there a waste of time and energy I would strongly inform people not to work for this company.
Pros
None
Cons
Everything is just a con
I was sent to work as forklift driver but when I got there I was told that this is not forklift job at all and that I another person who the agency sent to them to work as forklift regardless the client said that this is not forklift job. This is waste of time
