Logging Technician Kidlington
Logging technician apprenticeshi# (Former Employee) - Kidlington - 22 November 2018
Glossed up job title promising an apprenticeship but in reality the only training you get is a water hygeine card and a streetworks licence (which I still havent got). You will be travelling an hour each way unpaid most days rather than the local area they described in the advert for the job.Avoid this job its a lie its not a proper apprenticeship just a glossed up advert so they can give you low pay.Lack of equipment too as you will need to dig mud and pump out water of hydrants etc

Terrible place to work, with very poor Management that are hopeless.
Ex employee (Former Employee) - Scotland - 30 May 2018
Worked at Wabtec in Scotland for a little while, although the money is great if your willing to sacrifice your health and social life to earn a good wage, it's simply, not worth it. At Wabtec in Scotland, you get treated with no respect from a very poor management and HR team. The factory is a dump, unclean and disorganised. There's a health and safety Rep that walks about ALL day every day, creating problems for the workers but when he's approched about a problem, he's simply not interested. The full place is corrupt. If yous are offered a start with this company in there Scotland branch, I'd advise yous to take it, because as bad as this sounds, I'd love as many people to see how bad this place truly is.
Pros
Great money if you do the hours.
Cons
Poor Management, un-clean horrible factory, old rusty vehicle's, the list goes on

Useless.
Telehandler Operator- supervisor (Former Employee) - Wales - 28 January 2018
This agency is without a doubt one of the most useless out there. Never been offered work even though my CV is excellent and i have worked on some of the biggest construction projects on the UK.
They are about as much use as a big steaming pile of dog mess

Cons
Plenty

Shocking do not touch this agency
Worst agency ever, you've been warned. Will stitch you up and promise you work. Bullying culture and management is non existent. Would rather be on the dole than work for this lot again
Cons
Everything

not fun, all bsusiness.
Gate line assistant (Former Employee) - London - 31 October 2017
had to travel too far to work, most of the station staff made me feel un-welcome. I learned that I was there to work or cover whilst people cannot be bothered to do what I wanted to(work for my money). The management were hardly ever around, I believed that people were very two faced, the hardest part of the job was being there, the best part was lunch and going home!
Pros
going home early
Cons
management, supervisor, staff, office politics

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with Fusion People and achieved a great amount there. I enjoyed excellent relationships with both my colleagues and my clients. However I decided to resign so I could relocate.

As much control and direction as was needed.
Enumerator (Former Employee) - Taunton - 1 August 2017
While at no point it was a necessary part of what they were to do, the management from Fusion who routinely checked on the work we were doing brought cool water (necessary in that heat) and worked cooperatively with us to ensure the rotation of our shifts was not obstructive or exhausting
Pros
free water

Great company
Advanced trowel occuations (Former Employee) - Greater manchester - 11 February 2017
Good agency to work for when the work is there. Unfortunately not much going in Manchester . Seems got to stick to low pricework prices . Nothing really materialising in this trade as for wage increases seems to be stuck in the 1990s . agencies have bigger profit margins and it seems we are at the bottom of the pile
Pros
17hr
Cons
Turns into 14-15 hr after stoppages

What a big pile of rubbish,Fusion recruitment
telehandler operative (Former Employee) - london - 18 February 2014
You are meticulously being recruited by people that never seen in their live what a building site look like.
I am doing telehandler jobs for more than 7 years, and my references and people I was working with can tell how good driver I am.
The people I was working with finished 1st phase in January with the next one due in March.
So I am looking for any work. First,Fusion People offer me a job close by for 2-3 months minimum contract.Been there for 3 days and the machine gets off hire so then no work for me.
Second after couple of days they offer me another job this time for 4 weeks.
I am going there to do my job and after ONE day they decided to offload any lorries by mobile crane so therefore no need for a forklift,or a driver.
I lost two weeks of work because of Fusion.
My question to everyone is:
AM I THE UNLUCKIEST FORKIE TO LOOK FOR A JOB?
Pros
was too short experience to notice any
Cons
lots of stress when it could've been straight forward

Being Registered with Fusion People is a positive way of staying employed
Refuge Worker (Current Employee) - Southwark, ENG - 2 September 2013
It is not a regular job which means that I am without work sometimes and have to apply for Job seekers allowance.
Fusion People send me to different locations and that usually means anywhere within London. This helps me to keep up to date with a possible opportunity for a permanent position.
Pros
I am staying employed
Cons
It is not permanent but I could turn into one.

A good company to work with
ticket office clerk (Former Employee) - buckinghamshire - 29 May 2012
A typical day of work is always very busy, dealing with all kinds of customers and in their travel needs. as a very people minded person I got to know and have a chance meet diffrent people everyday and its very intersting experience and same time i have gain vast knowledge about UK. Manegment is very helpful and easy to go alone, and its team work and fortunately i had cance to work with excellent team. Some times dealing with rude customers can be very difficult even you doing very best to help them for a better outcome. when ever I see a happy and smilling customer that is very rewarding experience.
Pros
free travelling to worrk place
