Good job paid well all expenses paid including millage and courses. wagons are good, trailers and tankers could do with some looking at but overall decent kit, unfortunately some people in management are just untouchable and if you are to cross them and not be a yes man/woman they will find a way to boot you out of a job. Horrible people in management.Only getting 2 stars because of the decent money

Good place to work

Good place to work, management not to bad and are approachable and friendly, all the lads that work here are a cracking group to work with. Atmosphere is great, and the work load is balanced if your able bodied and qualified the old timers have moved on and now the other drivers are not carrying pm. Its a good place to work really. The kit could could do with a revamp in some areas but as a whole it all works. Enjoy working here.

It's fine if you're mates with management

If you are mates with the planner you can basically plan your own day...... If its boring and the same every day guaranteed jc won't get it.... Planner 4 year's experience and still doesn't understand the basics..... Could be a brilliant job.... If only the management grow some balls......

Please avoid. No matter what they promise you at interview

Try to make out they’re a big professional outfit but it’s a laughable circus. Do not care for your mental well being and Managment are a disgrace in caring for their staff well fare. Very much also if you don’t dance to their tune there is nothing down for you. Or for example if you go to said “manager” with a letter saying you need to have an operation your told “no good to me if you can’t drive, don’t think your getting paid either for it”. On sick pay it’s very much if you get along with certain people you get full pay other wise it’s SSP. Was also a very “click” atmosphere amongst staff which can be toxic at times. Basically this is aloud to carry on as long as work gets done even though Managment very much aware of it. HSE also a joke. Very much swept under the carpet mentality.

Many happy years at this company

I worked as back office support with a variety of duties. It is a fast paced environment. The business has good values with a priority of keeping workers safe. You're never bored! Fabulous team.

Too many chiefs.

The job used to have a good sense of camaraderie and all operators used to muck in. Then, came the dictatorship and the back stabbing. No talking, breaks shortened (some employees could get away with more) and unrealistic targets.A good bunch of lads who would help you as much as they could ruined by poor leadership and questionable health and safety.

Avoid if you have family or a life

All this company care about is money. You may be away all week come home and be sent away the next day. You can not plan anything because you have no idea where you will be or for how long for. They are penny pinchers who take or deduct moneey off you at every oppurtunity. In the last 2 years i dont think my pay has been right once. If your the sort of person that doesnt wanna do anything and be paid for it then this job is for you..the lazier you are the more you get here it seems

Terrible company with high turnover of staff

Terrible company to work for, the company is ran by managers who only look after themselves and don’t care about their employees. If you are a “yes sir” sort of person you will go far with this company but I would dread to see their HR files with employees data as they have such a high turnover over staff. Terminate contracts apologising that they are having financial difficulties but then buy a new company and then advertise your role after 4 months AVOID AVOID AVOID

The job description described at the interview was nothing short of lies! A couple of decent knowledgeable helpful guys in management are overshadowed by incompetent people employed as managers!

Hull Depot is Dangerous

I left a good long term job to come and work for future. The Hull depot would be my New place of work. I’ve never met such a terrible mix of people! No sense of team work, the GM is a buffoon and the lads who are going out in the field are clueless! The BDM there is dangerous with no clue and only thinks of himself and his bonus along with stealing other people’s work! Avoid this place!

Future industrial service

Management are stuck up their own backsides. Never known so many employees with criminal convictions. No professionalism throughout, rules change day by day. Never did anything about concerns that was raised about theft on site by own employees.

I was there about 3 years gained a promotion and a couple of pay rises but in the end travelling was to much when they shut down portsmouth

Had some great times in the time there but company didn't give are branch time to build department in Wales is a very well run branch with great guys would always go back to work there.

only as good as your last load,

top heavy incompetent managers that think they know best when most of the time its on the contrary, witness bullying from management to assaults from drivers on drivers, in house training is way bellow par for the products your working with, very high turn over of drivers probably because the operations manager is unfair and bias to drivers that "give him problems" unless you suckup to the boss you will be lucky to earn a living wage,the business seams to be on a down turn. in truth the company doesn't realise the professionalism and talent and dedication of there drivers ,plant operators, and transfer bay operators probably because the managers are to busy trying to justify there sad existence in a failing company!

good people and happy place to work good management but lots of missed opportunities and they need to re-design there set up. the computer system is out of date and they need more communication between the branches and head office.

Good lads, bad managers

Ive seen everything here. Unlawful wage deductions, unfair dismissals, bullying, discrimination of every kind. Serious accidents. The list is endless. The management and HR treat staff with nothing but contempt. You need to know what your doing because they don't want to help, and usually don't know anyway. Ask questions and your treated like a nuisance. If you don't do a job because your not sure or don't feel safe and competent, you'll face a disciplinary. Training is minimal and inadequate. You just fend for yourself. Then when it inevitably goes wrong, it's your fault! Most of the workforce are excellent. But they're carrying dead weight management. The management are incompetent, and appear to have no direction. And so they do as they please with no culpability.
