Really helps, but as long as you have strong sales skills and good customer service skills thats what matters. Being interested in games is more a plus.
Answered 19 July 2019The better at sales you are, the more hours you will recieve. Contracts are a minimum of 4 hours, so expect a minimum of 4 and up to around 30 a week if its a good week.
Answered 19 July 2019I was a Christmas sales Assistant in 2017. I liked working there but there was A LOT of favouritism happening. I was quite upset when the favourites who couldn’t work a lot a days were picked when I could work full days any day. Might just be my store but management definitely need to grow up.

The whole interview took about 20-30 minutes and felt more like a conversation rather than an interview. I feel you need to have good gaming knowledge from the questions asked.
