Not a place suitable for learning
Analytics (Former Employee) - Greater London - 7 October 2019
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedThere is a big gap between top management and executive. No communication within the department, people come and go at a very fast rate, not a clear roadmap or strategy, lots of products poorly integrated.
Pros
No stress
Cons
You learn nothing

Poor management
General Assistant (Former Employee) - Luton, Bedfordshire - 7 May 2022
Poor management with too many jobs dedicated to 1 person, more stress on the employee to work in a paced environment alone and get the job done while doing everyone else's job Management leaves you too work and doesn't tell you anything

Not the best
Commercial Development Manager (Former Employee) - Heathrow, Greater London - 1 October 2019

Staff Turnover
Demand Planning Team Supervisor (Former Employee) - Ashford, Surrey - 20 August 2019
No clear vision from the middle management team, leading to too many different practices from the various teams. There are no set SOP's causing too many conflicting practices.
This leads to frustrated staff leaving too regularly

Suffocating workplace
MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT (Former Employee) - London, Greater London - 16 May 2019
Draconian culture, presenteeism, frowning at leaving on time, elongated processes, micro management, lack of long term investment in employees.
I enjoyed the experience of working on different systems and for an international business but some aspects such as monthly admin were draining.
The hardest part of the job was remaining motivated past 6 months.
Pros
location
Cons
benefits eg: 20 days annual leave is disgusting

The job would be ok if the pay was reasonable
Hgv driver service delivery (Former Employee) - Gatwick Airport Station, West Sussex - 3 November 2017
I worked at gate gourmet at Gatwick for around a year driving an hgv in and around the airport delivering catering etc at night. I was first mislead about the wages at the interview as they said I would be earning £15 an hour and it ended up being around 9.20! Which is terrible for night work especially driving! The job itself is enjoyable and the equipment you use is good. Like I say if the pay was better it probably wouldn't be a bad job if you like nights. If you can get on days as they only earn slightly less and they get better food as it's all freshly cooked meals for them whereas I think night shift basically got cold leftovers.
Pros
Free lunches, left to get on with the job, good trucks
Cons
Long hours, terrible pay, awful food on nights
