If you are looking for new job it is better to remain jobless instead of going ti work with Gi Group. The have induction every day about 50-70 Workers and sendind home same amount. To my experiency the send workers back after they enroll you when they get all docoments copied.i thing they just need you to get your details and send you back. May be they are getting 80% persent from the government so be carefull. Stay away from Gi Groups. They locate in Burton and they have patners with boots. From Birmingham it is 27 Miles 44. Km And Hour DrivingThey have only two microwaves and some workers before you can cook and put their food about 10. minutes It is not good place at All
Long Hours 12. Hours and two 30 Min Brakes
First of all you're on papers as an normal warehouse worker even if you're qualified, some managers can't speak the English language and if you succeed and do your target been 6 phone screens/hour they will find something to tell you off. It was my worst job experience ever
Nothing you pay for everything
the supervisors and admins are not helpful in anyway they purposely look for the most stupidest mistakes you have made. Holidays you earn can't be taken as they keep rejecting zero to no knowledge with their own policies and procedure. They do not know how to talk to people they just know how to be arrogant regardless of who you are and how you work no professionalism what so ever. There is no flexibility when talking to supervisors they are like bloody robots. And if you are a foreign worker just avoid this place i understand some of you might want any job but this place is a dumpster fire to work with.
shift and days off cancellations they will just cancel it anytime
I would not work for Gi Group in Leicester at there work for fixing mobile phones as the place is full of back stabbers. With the COVID-19 they say keep your distance but when u working they are right near u the management would take 3 days off to go to Poland and just comes back to work with out self isolation to there self do not care about your safety at all the people that work there talk to u like dog poo
Full of clowns
Worked at Lear for around 2 months. Was let go as part of a headcount reduction even though they needed staff. Funnily enough it was the day before the COVid lockdown. Surprising that. Guess they didnt want to pay furlough is my guess. Or my face didnt fit was another. Its basically running round getting parts for car seats from the warehouse. Some of the staff there were great, some meh
I do NOT recommend working at GI Leicester. Management sucks, numerous wrongful warnings, threats from teamleaders. Office does not embrace the company at all, but requires miracles. None of the machine operators has undergone full training, everyone is self-taught, everyone must learn how to use and set-up the machines by themselves. Working on a stacker can be boring (depends on the letters), sometimes not. Teamleaders are two-faced, same as the whole office + few co-workers. At least the unit is warm (without chiller) :)

Is Indeed your favorite place to learn about companies?
i was with gi groups for arround 16 month working at ikea doncaster warehouse operative this agancy is very easy to deal with paid on time every week easy to book holidays when needed. if your thinking of using this agancy and unsure i would highly recommend them
It does get very busy and u have to be able to get thru all your orders - when it does get quiet that does not happen that often then u r just standing around for hours until we get orders to process that part of the job was real boring
If you like an employer who is fine giving you one days work a month then Gi Group is for you! They have a blue hat system where all the blue hats get full time hours. Where as white hats are treated unfairly. You're disposable and they let you know it. How do you get a blue hat? Be an attractive female. I
Overall good job to work at. I have gained the ability to work hard and be disciplined. The management there was good and the workplace culture was very organised. The hardest part of the job was lifting however it was easily done by working in a team. The enjoyable part was the good employees and management team.
Gi Group responded immediately to my enquiry for work and I registered the same day. On my first shift my ID badge and steel toed boots had been dropped off by my Gi Group Consultant, which was an amazing touch. Each time the work dries up my Gi Group Consultant secures more work from her teammates - so efficient!
