I worked at the health hydro for 4 years, I loved every minute and miss working more then anything! Manager was amazing and understanding, team was excellent and customer were lovely! Lots of progression and great benefits

Toxic environment

Both good and bad. Best way to progress is through lifeguarding. Pay and benefits aren’t amazing but it’s also not a difficult job. Management can be hit and miss

Fellow staff in other departments were great

No additional staff to support.Only one staff member across 5 sites to triage, do health questionnaires & inductions. Lack of support was shocking. Yet the company was happy for me to cover my manager for no extra pay.

Great company to work for if you want to knuckle down and progress upwards. A lot of support from most of the senior management. A fair salary in London as you move upwards, although a lot of responsibility for not the best paid industry.

Great team members and fair rates of pay. Plenty of cover shifts available across the city centre. The swim school can be quite stressful and busy at times. But all in all a good place to progress.

Good working hours

Management is mostly helpful, but overall a positive working environment. Always easy to pick up shifts on a 0 hour contract and good amount of lifeguards means not always on pool.

Was okay until I wad treated poorly by some managers also how I was treated after dealing with changing experience was bad . However I learnt alot there met some incredible people. It has changed since I've been there and jm okay with that.
