Great scope for development
Great starter job with opportunities for progression as staff turnover is high. GBS is a relatively new kid on the block and has plans to achieve university status in the future.

GBS is a good place to work.
I am leaving a review as I wanted to share my very positive experience at GBS. It is a company where you work very hard day to day but there are many opportunities to advance if you are willing to do this. All staff work face to face with the students to help them get ahead in their studies. GBS has mainly mature learners needing some assistance to resume academic studies. Sitting behind a desk and sending emails won't work here! Even backroom staff see students and help them with their queries. My co-workers are great and there is lots of support for new ideas and initiatives.

Friendly staff but workload and pressure too much
Overall I did not enjoy my time at Global Banking school. The staff are really friendly but the workload and pressure was too much and was made to work more hours than on my contract. Staff turnover very high. Please stay away.

Horrid Workplace : lack of management input & poor salary
Stay away - Horrendous company to work forToxic and poor leadership. Lots of fire fighting and reactive management.IT issues hinder progress, laptops are badly set up and constantly failing but IT will ‘repair” but take weeks to completeFinance is rubbish paying invoices.Good facilities in newish offices clean and tidy

Disorganised, unethical, stressful, sweatshop like money oriented and poor leadership
This private college admits home students who have poor academic and English language ability. They are there only for the money they receive from SLC. Students do not want to attend the class as they are working full time and have poor ability to understand Level 4 education. The college is happy as long as somebody wants to take admission. It has no genuine intention to help the students or provide good quality education.
