Bus Driver in London Putney
Great place nice colleges
Nice place colleagues all good. Shift work some times early shifts sometimes lates management helpful. Meet people from all over the country and tourists visiting city. Hardest part of job is shift work different times every day

Favourtism to certain people.
I worked as a driver for Go Ahead London for 3 years. During that time I applied for other vacancies within the company. On at least 15 occasions I never got an interview and when I questioned HR about this, they complained about me and therefore I got into trouble. There have been other people who have been there only a year and they get an interview. I would not recommend anyone to work for them because they show favourtism and all this stuff about progression in the company is rubbish. The only ones who progress have relatives who work in management otherwise you are stuck as a driver forever.

Not a good place to work if you have children
Being a bus driver is a good job because of the pay and benefits but the work/home balance is not good for a family person because of the different shift patterns e.g earlys, middles and lates. For that reason I chose to stop working there.
Horrible place to work
Horrible place to work. Not much of a work/social balance and they underpay you. They don’t care about what you have going on in your social life as long as you can come in to drive. Which such a high overturn of drivers they couldn’t care less about whether you leave
Bus driver in Northumberland Park
you are a number
when you start working for GAL you get given an employee number, and that's what you are for them (management), if there's a problem or you need anything, they will just call the next number in the queue. you can earn some extra money, as you end up working between 40/50 hours per week. based on a 40 h week, you can get the same money working in a pub.
