I’ve learnt to take my time whilst driving for the safety of the passengers as well as myself. Being a London bus driver I’ve faced a number of challenges, such dealing with difficult passengers, who are sometimes intoxicated and also vulnerable and elderly people. I’ve learnt as a bus operator you have to cater to everyone and go above and beyond for customer satisfaction as well as safety. This has taught me that everyone is unique. • Drivers drive too many hours because they are paid less than an hour, and that's why they sacrifice to drive more hours to gain more, but when fatigue and stress accumulate, accidents and mistakes happen in traffic as well as indifference compared to travelers and other road users, I think TFL needs to intervene and raise the minimum wage per driver hour. it must be at least 18 pounds per hour and not be allowed to work for more than 8 hours a day

  • The hours are very good

  • Varied shift work 38 hours a week.
