The Grange Nursing Home has been run by the Northover family for over 27 years. Situated in the village of Hedge End, The Grange Nursing Home is set in an 1.5 acres of gardens, providing a peaceful and stunning environment where the highest standards of care can be given to all residents.

As soon as you enter the building, you will be aware of the homely environment which it provides and you will receive a warm and welcoming greeting from our Receptionist and Office staff. The main part of the building on the ground floor is open plan creating a spacious light and airy feel. This area is the main lounge and dining room linking to our beautiful conservatory with lovely views of the garden and terrace.

There are a further 2 well appointed spacious lounge areas, giving plenty of opportunity for social interaction with other residents, family and friends. However we appreciate that during your quiet times you may prefer to stay in your own room.

These lounges can be booked in advance for a family function which our excellent chefs would be happy to cater for.

Busy work place

Have loved the job and what i have done to help people that need your help on a daily basis , also met some lovely ladies and gents . But there come,s a time in your life were you need a change , because all that hard work show,s on your body after a long while . I myself have come to that stage were i need just to slow down a little bit now and welcome any change in a new career .

friendly

staff is good, always look out for one another. very supportive. would recommend. the food is good and get free food. only own side is pay aint great but that care 4 ya lol.

Don't work there

I work there for a number of years on nights, the night staff are very good and make you feel welcome but as for the day staff and managment who are all related in some way we are treated as the low class we can be short staff running on 3 for 63 people to look After instead off getting a thank you for your hard work we get why haven't you done this why was that not done and then we get moan at by...

Worst place EVER!!!

worst place on earth. staff are useless and have no idea what they are doing. management and head office are even more useless. those that actually do their jobs are treated horribly by others. no job recognition. no advancement opportunities. i would thin twice before applying for a job here.

Ok nursing home

Most of the clients living there where happy and content and enjoyed some of the activities throughout the day. The staff where ok, they could have seen to some of the clients more to see if they were ok.
