Sometimes felt as if behind the scenes was a little hectic and unorganised. The dumb-waiter was broken for months meaning staff had to run up and down stairs with food orders before suddenly getting fixed of a weekend. When problems arose in the kitchen, it felt as if repairs were slow to happen leaving us to work around the issues for days.
Morale was at its worst before I left, but the company was going through some changes towards the end and staff turnover had increased slightly since I started in 2017. I haven't heard much about it since then, but overall the company was great to work for, it was mostly just our branch that fared a little worse than the others.
Dog eat dog, as far as middle and upper management is concerned. The employees on the casino floor are all down to earth people though.
