Guide Dogs for the Blind Association
Guide Dogs for the Blind Association Employee Review
Enjoyable job, unwelcoming work environment
Volunteer (Former Employee) - Chigwell, Essex - 26 November 2022
I volunteered at Guide Dogs for the Blind in 2019 for two weeks. I enjoyed my time here, but felt very isolated by members of staff and other volunteers. I spent most breaks sat by myself in the staff room as very few staff went out of their way to include me.

It was all volunteer work and I helped out mostly on weekends, i enjoyed helping out and I had a few friends who volunteered there too. We have collected money in shops all over the town

Great personal satisfaction
As a volunteer driver, I am involved in transporting people and animals from one place to another, as well as taking equipment to events. This is very rewarding, as it allows me to meet many new people, as well as spending time with animals
