You prepare for an interview at Halo the same way as you would for any company.... research the company, arrive in good time, dress smartly, ask questions, be confident.
I looked on Halo's website and asked questions about the business. I arrived early, dressed smartly and was confident during my interview. I was made to feel comfortable during my interview and this really helped push my nerves away.
Just be open, and honest. Interviews are relaxed and they will put you at ease.
Research the industry and company. Plenty of information available about their values and what they do best. Dress smartly, come prepared and be enthusiastic about the role on offer!
Applied to a job advert on Indeed by sending in my CV and a covering letter. I was then contacted via telephone to arrange a suitable day/time for the interview. I attended the interview and then heard back via telephone within a few days. Quick reply/response which was good, so there was no waiting for a long time to find out if I had been successful or not. Overall it was a good experience.
Delete their emails, block their number and keep on looking for somewhere you’ll be valued and appreciated and can actually have a future.
Take a big pinch of salt with you.
Expect to be lied to, especially by HR, do your research and consider any other options you may have as you’ll most likely be disappointed here once all the BS fades away.
Have a backup plan and always cover your behind.
