If you have ever watch "The Office" then you can relate to this high pressure sales company, stuck in the 80s, had a recent MBO and are desperate for each sale. They operate a high pressure sales and office environment, high staff turnover of office and install teams. Very poor management structure that like to micro manage every minute of the working day, which is approx a 14 hour day. The computer system the use is from the 1970s and Head office is a series of portacabins with buckets everywhere to catch the rain as the roof constantly leaks, very little investment in the company, staff or training.

Company is toxic & bullying

Hammonds is an aweful place & i strongly reccommend everyone to avoid. Customers & staff are not looked after but more inportantly are manipulated & pushed into bad situations. Theres zero upside to this company.

Left alone with little support and no loyalty to staff a great product but little support for those at the sharp end. Needs to believe in managers to manage instead of micro managing

Great Place to work

This company has a great culture. It's a family business, but, massive!! I have worked here for 5 years and always wanted to stay! The wages aren't great, but, the culture is and there is advancement if you work for it. I would recommend Hammond's as an employer all day long.

Hammonds are like a family to work for friendly and caring.They help you achieve all goals and listen . I would recommend them to anyone . There products are easy to sell

A typical day at work, consist of meeting many new people.Potential clients, my duty is to approach them in a friendly and polite manner.Once i have gained their attention, i will go on to sell our products.By asking questions and letting them get involved.I am currently Manager and manage two staff. Duties include, all formal documents. E.g, Rotas, holidays, team building, etc.
