Hart District Council Employee Review
Very conducive place of work full of fun
Excellent place to work with all the workers willing to assist those of us on placement. It can however be very demanding when we have a busy day. The most enjoyable part of the job is team spirit that is always exhibited at the work place.

The best thing about working for the Countryside Service at Hart District Council was the job security. Sadly, this meant that a poor management team were not brought to account for various formal complaints made against them.
This was a high-stress, negative workplace with very little support from managers and very poor provision of training and equipment. I, like several others within a few months, resigned due to the issues not being resolved.
Pros
Flexible working hours and job security
Cons
Very poor management
Unfortunately like a lot of local authorities money is the main issue. The people there are lovely however there is points where pressure builds up and employees may not get recognition they deserve. Pay may take a hit as a private company is taking them over and this may affect motivation and performance.
Pros
Good atmosphere
Cons
Privatisation concerns
- Very conducive place of work full of fun
