Awful company would only recommend if desperate for work.management don’t care about staff constantly on the go long shifts poor pay certainly not a caring company
Total career change after working in retail for 13 years. Such a rewarding job it's the best decision I made. It's nice to be appreciated for the work that you do by both residents and management. Good opportunities to progress within the company.
I feel very happy at home though at times there are set backs. The management and colleague workers are very welcoming and understanding. The most hardest aspect of the work in Himley Mill Care home is that some of the service users are very difficult to manage and like making of complaints
Good enough place to work, residents lovely. Some staff liked to gossip to one another and there always seemed to be tension between day shift and night shift for silly reasons. A lot of work on day shift, night shift much more calm most of the time.
Minimum wage, not treat like a human being, not made to feel valued, awful care, awful management, if any of us died today, their jobs would be advertised tomorrow. We’re just numbers. The management of the home itself is shocking.
