Greedy, not patient focused

Indeed featured review

The most useful review selected by Indeed
Not enough focus on the patients themselves, too much priority of money and figures.Staff not seen as assetts, just a number. And never recognised for the work they put in.Housekeeping is awful, always need pest control.

Pros

Car park

Cons

Stressful

Oppressive, poorly paid with bad management

The organisation’s culture is toxic because the managers do not know how to manage. The management style is oppressive with bullying, blame and micromanagement being rife. They do not treat employees fairly. I have never worked somewhere so utterly unprofessional. The I.T systems are clunky and inefficient, which does not make it easy to meet their unrealistic targets. There is no career progression and the work is monotonous. Also, the final insult is that the pay is very low and there can be a huge difference in pay between two workers doing the same job.

Pros

Free car park. Some of the staff when I was there were very friendly

Cons

Long hours, poor management, poor pay, unfair

Underpaid and under staffed

For what you do on customer service this job is massively underpaid it’s an insult to be on minimum wage 9 hours a day. For what you have to deal with chasing up missing PX medications. Deliveries and other stuff. So much stuff never got done because staff in other departments are too lazy. 9 hour shifts are too long aswell not e ouch staff to answer the phones. So your admin work never gets done , and the only way to catch up is to stay longer every day. In a very Blame culture organisation

Pros

Close to home

Cons

Long hours way underpaid

Poor organisational skills by management

Started off as a fabulous, interesting, varied job with promises of much more to come This never materialised leading me to feel used and taken for granted Work life balance was poorly addressed Poor management styles with a reactive approach made work more and more difficult to continue Organisation of work load was a joke and staff were expected to to work late hours to comply with management objectives

Poorly managed by a certain person

What started out to be a fun job which I enjoyed immensely turned into a nightmare Floor staff where brilliant, had some really good times but then along comes someone who was challenging to say the least (Manager) People that are not always honest and try the heavy handed approach In a much better post now

Poor company.

Company expects far too much and take major advantage of their staff, long exhasting days, the work/life balance is not good, no incentives, constantly understaffed, slackers who make the day harder than it needs to be, tension between departments, especially with the dispensary who don't understand when patients need urgent deliveries and make you feel bad for taking orders across, management who couldn't care less, constantly putting (simple) ideas forward for better day-to -day running, but even that's too much effort, the list goes on and on. I used to get alot of satisfaction from the job but feels you are constantly fighting a losing battle
