Very hard work for minimum wage
Warehouse Operative (Former Employee) - Warrington omega - 11 January 2023
The hardest job you'll ever do. I came crawling out of the warehouse most days. Freezing cold and dark in the back of a loose filled lorry. Supervisors have targets to meet and some shout at people to meet these, some slope of smoking while at the same time frown at you for going to the toilet, and they demand you're back bang on time after tea break, even though it can be a 10 minute round trip from the far end of the warehouse. A couple of supervisors were ok. Some have there favourites. Some are complete helmets. Security Looks like a criminal and treats everyone as pure scum. Some of the longer term staff there are nice and friendly and helpful. If i was deaperate for work I'd go back as a last resort. Some characters there. Its disappointing that the staff are unvalued there. It could be so much better but this all comes from greed at the top. Water machines were always broken when i was there. At times it can be total chaos as so many targets have to be made.

It's my first warehouse job and people are very helpful. They worked as a team and assist in work. Good to see different countries people and culture. Management is very supportive.

Good pay hard work
Warehouse Operative (Former Employee) - Boldon Colliery - 7 November 2022
Given very little time to learn and adapt and are expected to keep up with full time employees and you are not given much of a break the shift time is not work jobsites advertise but that may just be the recruiters fault

Terrible
Warehouse Operative (Former Employee) - Warrington, Cheshire - 26 October 2022
The Job is very tiring, with only one thirty minute break. The warehouse is also very cold so make sure you bring warm clothing. Free parking is the only perk

Just terrible
Warehouse Operative (Current Employee) - Barnsley, South Yorkshire - 4 October 2022
First day there and the management was just unreal. Literally no body knew what they were doing. The managers don’t even teach you the basics of working there. All they tell you is to find something to do…
Pros
No pros
Cons
Long hours, 1 30 min break for the whole day, terrible management and no radio

Honestly couldn't fault it. I loved it there. Was my favourite job by a long way. The staff are amazing, the pay is, everything was great. Wish I'd not left but I had a baby and couldn't stay!

Working for this company is horrendous. The management is a joke! The stress you are put under is horrific and the rate of pay is poor! The warehouse is chaotic (and not in a good way) Health & Safety goes out the window also.
Pros
End of shift
Cons
Long hours, stressful shifts, poor management, level of theft is unreal.

Ok job
Warehouse Operative (Former Employee) - Warrington, Cheshire - 3 July 2022
It’s not too bad working there but was only there a short amount of time over the the Christmas period. Half the time they would book to many people and send you home so waste of time

Productive and fun
Warehouse Operative (Former Employee) - Erdington, West Midlands - 7 June 2022
Good place to work and the work will be mostly repetitive. Collegues are helpfull. Only difficulty is to get proper shifts. Some weeks there won't be any shifts.

Awful place to work
Warehouse Operative (Former Employee) - Nottingham - 2 May 2022
DONT DO IT !!!!!! I worked at the Nottingham depot and i'm sure anyone who works or who has worked there,.. minus anyone who's higher up getting paid to do nothing but to watch us work,.. will say its awful. It is not worth the stress and your mental health.. can't even say your time and money because if you work there you haven't got any time to do anything outside of work and the money is below average for what they put you through!! The managers and team leaders are all on massive power trips!! Most of them have NO management skills and talk to you like you're worthless. Overtime is EXPECTED of you, they don't even ask you if you can stay past your hours, they just expect you to stay. THEY NEVER PAY YOU CORRECTLY!!!! Over the 7/8 months i worked there i never got paid right, every month, half of my colleagues wouldn't have been paid right either, always missing a few hundred pounds, some never even got paid at all. The woman that works in payroll needs investigating!!!! Honestly, this company is a joke and i would highly recommend anyone to stay clear of this place as you'd be a lot better off not having a job than working here.
Pros
nothing
Cons
everything
