Nothing more than a working museum
No work life balance No communication from management only when you have an infringement on your tacho.Unrealistic tasks at times but still expected to achieve.Except working off card.Lorrys not fit for distances expected to travel.No office to contact out of hours.Maintenance on vehicles a tick box exercise.Promise the world and deliver nothing with vehicles.Has to be the worse management to work under ever.Only answer you get is its heygates train set. Broken promises
This could be the best job in the area. The lorries are out dated and drivers are an inconvenience to the management. Often given a tipping time that requires you to start at 1am even though yesterday’s shift didn’t finish till 4pm. Go 1 min over your driving time and there is a problem. Load off the card and they turn a blind eye and given the work load it is encouraged. Like I said this could be a great job but unapproachable management and what seems like a lack of understanding from the planner it isn’t. I wouldn’t recommend coming to Downham Market to work at this time. C+E Driver in Downham Market

Poor downham market site manager
The company as a whole is well respected and although not much in employee values they do pay good However the site manager based in Downham is Selfless and has no skills in man management whatsoever - He has employed his whole family to work there and not given any chance to any one else wanting to work there.What would you say about your employer?
