Account Manager in Birmingham, West Midlands
Great to begin with but changes with experience and knowledge.
I consider Hilti to be a great brand, but not so great an employer.
As your experience increases with Hilti and other positions of interest arise, it becomes clear that those with the most 'friends' on the Leadership Team are considered over those with the relevant skill set and experience.
i miss the team
excellent company spoilt by a very few managers training is second to none Very hands on - work varied and interestingculture is great but some might feel its a little too much
Account Manager - Specialist Building Construction in Milton Keynes

Account Manager in North West Highlands, Highland
Great work culture, fun people to work with
A typical day would be to cover a specific post code and call on existing customers and also some cold calling on potential customers. I learned a lot in this job, different uses of tools, what trades would use what tools. Management are fantastic and offer lots of support. The hardest part of the job is keeping all the plates spinning, there is a degree of micro management which can be difficult. The most enjoyable part of the job is building long term good working relationships with the clients

Good company but poor mangement
I worked at hilti for over 3 years. The staff and sales guys are great however management were awful. There was bullying and unrealistic targets to met. Unfair promotions and passed over for various options even though had more exelerience than.most of them in the office. Too many little clicks between staff. If your face didnt fit you were made to feel awful. People not pulling their weight and leaving it to everyon else. One rule for some another for others
