Prison Officer (Former Employee) - Manchester - 23 February 2023
The company is more corrupt than the service users, absolutely shocking and no help and support from management promotions are stupid and only get a promotion if your in a relationship with a higher “band than yourself” the whole system is corrupt

Prison service not good
Prison Officer (Former Employee) - Woodbridge - 11 August 2023
I would never work for the prison service again , it is so corrupt, I was at Warren hill and they care more for prisoners more than staff , you have a younger staff group and they throw you under the bus with anything , stay well clear

Lack of pay for the type of work and environment you’re in

No where near enough pay for what role you do. Its 10 different jobs within the role you do. Great pension though as all civ service jobs but rather work in Asda and get paid more than being subject to abuse for pennies
