What is the most stressful part about working at HobbyCraft?

  • It gets boring over time, there no chance to progress. Sometimes you have to deal with difficult, unreasonable customers. Sometimes you get personally blamed for company’s faults.

  • HO doesn’t listen. Workload, short stuffed stores, unrealistic expectations from customers, click and collect issues when they failed and you have to deal with customer.

  • Managers. They think you're brainless. If you don't get enough card sign ups they think you have a problem talking to customers.
    24 years retail experience behind me and I got asked if I needed training on talking to the public!!!!

    Manager couldn't have read my CV!

  • Not having alot of employees to fall back on or ask for help, however learned to be independent and ask for help when needed.
