You will be treated as a number, and if you don't meet your metrics you will be chopped. There is no meaningful company culture, and the company is slowly turning into more of a holding company than a medical company. The overall company mission is being lost in the drive to acquire new tech (ultimately the goal being to gut the new companies and make a buck up front, with little to no regard in the long-term sustainability of the products or the longevity of the employees supporting it).
Really good people and culture. Everyone is nice and helpful. Lots of management. Can learn a lot, but is what you put into it. Great place for an internship/co-op.
Gym, cafe on location, good pay, flexible hours
Huge company, sometimes are a number
As a Software V&V Engineer, expect to work in a black box testing environment. Training curriculum was poor, but mentors are great and always willing to help.
Great campus, food court
Little team building, little cross-department interaction, little room for growing skills
This was by far the worst job I’ve had in production. Work you hard and didn’t care about anything but numbers no matter how hard you worked. So unorganized and unprofessional and for a “clean room” was not clean and did not follow the standard clean room rules. There was already 2 site managers there it was like a revolving door and I was there less than a year! Rude co workers not a friendly team environment at all.
Didn’t clock out for breaks except lunch
Everything else but breaks
I liked my job, location and a lot of nice people there. But if you want to be a permanent employee look somewhere else! I worked there for 10 months full time with perfect attendance but was still a temporary employee. They keep telling you that your going to get hired soon and string you along. There were a couple of guys that were still temps about a year and a half in. So if you want to be a temp for ever this is the place.
Location. Nice coworkers.
No job security. Just a temp.
Great people who care but management always in a state of change which limits understanding how to utilize talent to better the company.
Great people who care but management always in a state of change which limits understanding of how to utilize talent to better the company. Outside hires are more coveted than people growing inside the organization which stunts impactful growth. A good place to bring ideas and move on.
They are always trying to upgrade the systems with very mixed results. Some upgrades had to be removed after installation due to unexpected problems.
We want to help you find great companies. Help us be the best!
Do these reviews help you learn more about working at Hologic?
Hologic use to be a pace that you respected and enjoyed coming to work everyday. All I see now is everyone waiting for there 8 hours to be up so they can get away from here. It's sad Hologic use to be enjoyable to drive to work everyday and do work that you were passionate about. But the current management and HR has taken that all away. Were on a path of employees leaving Hologic after 15 years just because the Culture is so bad. Every person that leaves takes resumes of current employees to try and get them hired on where they are going. Like I said if offered a job at Hologic refuse it and move on to a better company that takes care of there employees. And don't let management threaten your job 3 times a week that if he scores bad on a survey that Cooperate understands that it's the employees and not him and he has tasked him to fire the employees that scored low on the survey. Horrible place to work...Use to be GREAT a real shame....
Job being Threated on almost a daily basis
Pay & benefitsGreat benefits but very poor compensationJob security and advancementThe company encourages to study and provides reimbursementOverallDefinitely a great place to work with an amazing campus! Team members are friendly and there is a healthy work environment throughout. Great maternity benefits as well. The only con is the compensation which is not very competitive.
Even though they give employees surveys regularly the management doesn’t seem to do anything to improve the low ratings. They will also tell one employee to drive 8 hours to a site and another to take a flight for the same distance.
Pay if you are the person making 30k more than the lowball guy.
Expensive healthcare. Poor leadership. Culture has gone downhill for many years.
