A pittance. Thy only pay anything if you have to travel more than 9 miles between each call, but then the office makes sure that you rarely travel that distance between calls and will argue you down to the last few metres - no matter what the mileage in your car says! So basically they are using your car for just about free !

No fuel allowance if you don’t go from one client to the next! They work it out so the calls are staggered ie another client could live 3 miles down the road but they will send another carer there so they don’t have to pay fuel! Very crafty! By the time you work out calls and fuel probably on £6 p/h

18pence per mile. No mileage paid for travelling too, and from last call OR if there is a 45 minute gap between one call to the next!!!... Office staff will be ensure you travel the furthest to start your shift to ensure they don’t have to pay that stretch of your call! Doesn’t cover wear and tear on your vehicle OR fuel! 55 pence per mile up to first 50 miles then 80 pence after that

You don't get paid to and from home to your client but in between going from client to client

20p a mile

25p per mile with the ability of claiming an extra 20p per mile from the tax office.
