I interviewed for this company, was accepted for the job, told lies and given next to nothing hours. (6a week max) to be precise…They treated me poorly - spoken to me like rubbish since getting the job, didn’t allow me to be off sick when I was very unwell. And wouldn’t give a reference to a new job once I’d left. They made themselves out to be a good company with good staff but the day I started was the day they changed their behaviour and attitude towards me. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

A rewarding and supportive place to work

Working as a Caregiver for Home Instead is a very fulfilling role. Helping clients with day-to-day tasks in their own home is very rewarding as you not only help them but you also build working relationships.Your hours are suited to your availability as are the areas in which you work.There are on-going learning and development courses that can be completed online, some of which are mandatory in this role.Any problems or concerns you may have will be dealt with quickly and professionally by management who are very friendly and approachable.

Pros

Good management support, excellent learning and development opportunities, higher rate of pay than most other care companies, good work/life balance.

Cons

Only receiving your rota on a Thursday for the following week.
