Sales Executive (Former Employee) - Southampton, Hampshire - 7 November 2022
Indeed featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedWorked for Home logic for a year and a half and I did enjoy my time with them some helpful people there but there are some people making this company really bad. I have had huge problems with getting paid from them. I had to leave as a result of not getting paid by them. that then resulted in losing my house.

Dreadful place nothing good stay clear or your be sorry
Sales Representative (Former Employee) - Bristol, Bristol - 5 October 2023
Well, stay well clear, no pros mega cons (artists) Example, Drive 1500 miles a week for nothing, if you was a customer would you pay £3500 for a gallon of ou spray foam, you can’t sell your house if you have bought this product surveying the roof once the house is sold is major red flag and headache, area supervisors can’t manage anything and steel the good leads from under you. Read all the reviews and that give your answer if your thinking of joining this dreadful company.

A great role if you are prepared to put in the effort
Field Sales Executive (Current Employee) - South West - 18 July 2023
I am relatively new to the company, and I understand the role of a sales representative, what you put in is what you get out, and success doesn't usually happen over night. The support and training is good. I love the company product and ethos, and the team and management are very supportive. I know I have made the right decision and I am excited to be part of this business.
Pros
Flexibility
Cons
Some long journeys - but this isnt always a negative

Great People
Field Sales Representative (Current Employee) - Peterborough, Cambridgeshire - 11 July 2023
HomeLogic are only as good as the people they have working for them and I do believe (especially in our team) we have the right people above, teaching, assisting and shadowing us, to help us perform in the field to our best abilities to achieve the earnings we deserve.
Pros
Constant communication
Cons
Not allowing confirmation appointment calls from the field sales reps

Constant opportunity
Sales Representative (Current Employee) - Nationwide - 11 July 2023
Homelogic give all reps the opportunity to earn every day due to them being able to supply leads for various products. The only issue is the distances you will have to travel to sit these leads.
Pros
High commissions
Cons
Work/ Life balance. Drive times

Insights into Home Logic UK
Areas for improvement
- Energising work tasks
- Clear sense of purpose
- Trust in colleagues
The reality was far from what I was told in the interview
Solar sales rep (Former Employee) - Surrey - 4 July 2023
The training was appalling and not fit for purpose, then you are sent out by yourself with little to no support. Commission is only paid if you sell on the day and only about 10% of appointments they are ready for that for reasons including dont have the money yet or not allowed to do single sits if partner isnt there. Its sales and you have to expect that, but never had such consistently poor quality leads in other sales jobs. In the interview I asked and was told I would work locally and if I had to travel further it would be for more than one appointment. In reality it was between 1 1/2 and 3 hours driving for each appointment, up to 1000 miles a week in your own car.
Pros
Retainer payment for first 6 weeks
Cons
Long hours travelling to poor quality lead

Poor management
Sales Advisor (Former Employee) - Southampton, Hampshire - 4 June 2023
Only worked here for about 2 weeks although all the staff were friendly the management were just awful. Made them aware during interview about upcoming appointments I had and they weren’t at all accommodating around these and then accused of maki by up appointments and spoken to like something on the bottom of their shoe. May have changed but from experience I would avoid working for them..
Pros
Good hours
Cons
Poor management

Sales Consultant (Current Employee) - Southampton, Hampshire - 23 May 2023
Ignore the bad reviews clearly a disgruntled sales man who couldnt do his job properly by the sounds of it. i have worked for home logic for over 8 years and have only but advanced in roles within the company. its fun and its a fair place to work for, the owners go above and beyond to help their staff and make sure everyone who works for them is happy!
Pros
relaxed fun environment

Diabolical
Sales Advisor (Former Employee) - North West - 15 May 2023
Quite literally the worst company I have ever worked for , I have over 30 sales experience and never had such pressure selling , you were made to spend at least 3-4 hours in a solar appointment , tell lies , the management don’t care , toxic environment started with 15 colleagues and within 3 months I was the only one left there , would definitely not recommend
Pros
None
Cons
Toxic management, non payment of commissions

Avoid, avoid, avoid !!!
Sales (Former Employee) - Kent - 10 May 2023
They treat their salesmen the way they do their clients with a pitch promising you the world and telling you to get ready to fill your banks accounts but it’s a load of nonsense ! They say they’re really busy and that they’re going to be busy but it’s all a lie ! Don’t waste your time with the training as they have no intention of giving you the work they promise you and if you don’t make the sale there and then or within 24th then you loose that job and if the clients decide they do want to go ahead in the future then the sale goes to the office and you loose the commission. The sales managers and field managers are rude and all have an ego and talk to people like they’re better than you in every way. Don’t waste your time with this company, full of liars !

Don't expect to get paid
Sales Rep (Former Employee) - North West - 17 December 2022
Started in November on the training course in Southampton. Course was 3 days long and concentrated on the product and how to deliver to customers, after which you are out in the field on your own. I prefer this but some will struggle with the lack of bedding in time. They guarantee the best warm leads in the sector but I've never come across worse leads yet in all my years in sales. I sat 5 leads over 3 days (wanted more but wasn't sent any). 2 cancelled and 3 didn't even know they had to pay for the product. I obviously decided that my time and experience was better spent elsewhere so left. The contract says you will be paid a basic fee for the training and for each day sitting leads for your first couple of weeks. I'm yet to receive any money at all and after many calls I keep getting told I have been paid yet nobody can tell me what the account was which was paid into and now my calls are mysteriously not getting through.

Cons
Management don't pay you, Ice cold leads, Dreadful Management, Dinosaur sales tactics, Team leaders are condescending and aggressive, They push you to sell no matter what you have to say or do

Worst place ever management horrendous
Direct Sales (Former Employee) - Sheffield - 16 September 2022
Anybody who tells you this is good, is lying to you, constant threat of being sacked by managers terrible motivation and basically no money if you fail to make sales, if you have a family say goodbye to them as you’ll never see them, overcharge people thousands then drop the price to basically nothing so you’ll only earn 50 quid, bag of lies stay away, trust me
Pros
Occasional commission
Cons
12-15 hour day

Great products, super organised business
Direct Sales Agent (Current Employee) - Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear - 22 August 2022
I have been with Homelogic for 5ys excluding lockdown. Never had to worry about being paid, no worries about leads. The higher the cost of living the more relevant this company is and the more you will earn. Enthusiasm and determination, together with their training program will see you on the path to earn a very good living.

So far, So good…
Sales Representative (Current Employee) - Manchester - 25 June 2022
As the title of the review says, so far so good. Only been here for a few weeks. Training could be better, but there is some good support if you ask for it.

Excellent family ran business
Telesales Agent (Current Employee) - Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear - 10 January 2020
I've worked for homelogic for almost 2 yrs now, I find it a great place to work staff are friendly and helpful and your encouraged to contact management if your having any problems, it's a family run business and thats what it feels like.. A family. Yes it's a call center so there is a certain amount of pressure to preform and hit targets but you would find that in any job, always paid on time and if there are any issues iits delt with straightaway

Good company to work for
Telemarketer (Current Employee) - Southampton, Hampshire - 14 November 2019
Working at homelogic provides a professional business environment in which we still have a laugh and get the job done.
Salary is above most other jobs involved in sales or marketing companies and the management team are incredibly understanding of everything people have going on outside of work. The ability to receive bonus isn't easy but is more than achievable.
The people who work here are all genuinely part of a family and being a small business run by a brilliant team of directors means everyone I know here is excited to come to work daily!

A half step up from unemployment
Telesales Agent (Former Employee) - Southampton, Hampshire - 12 September 2019
Easily the worst job I’ve ever had in my life.
They don’t pay what they are advertising, I’m not sure if they even pay minimum wage. You can’t calculate your pay until your pay slip comes. You don’t get paid until midday, weekly. The commission structure is poor compared to how much they sell the product for.
Their turnover is high because a) No one wants to work there, which most people realise as they walk through the door. b) Management are rude, self entitled, aggressive, bullies. Witnessed management screaming at colleagues in my time there. No professionalism, discussing employees in front of other employees.
Reprimanded publicly for doing anything outside of making calls (ie, toilet breaks), constant monitoring like a child. We were once made to stand up at our desks and not allowed to sit down until we got a lead.
Nothing enjoyable about the job (unless you count lunch breaks & going home). Cold calling, harassing the elderly, for a product that is generally not needed in any home. Quite the battle to convince people it is, making leads out of unsuspecting people. Script is a complete lie, often changing to add more lies.
Only take this job if absolutely desperate as I was at the time.

Awful people
Call Centre Agent (Former Employee) - Plymouth, Devon - 4 September 2019
Horrible place to work I worked here for 3 months and was never given a contract although asked. If you didn’t hit your target every day you were either binned off or taken down to 2/3 hours a week. Upper management are also awful. Our office was closed due to management being drunk at work
