Home Office Employee Review
Asylum seeker decision maker
Asylum seeker decision maker (Former Employee) - Liverpool, Merseyside - 18 July 2023
AWFUL. The training for this job is so so so poor and the expectations are really high. Hardly anyone there knows what they are doing as no one has been there very long because they have such a high turn over of staff as no one wants to stay ! Such a stressful job for so little money Managers CONSTANTLY changing
Pros
Flexi shifts

Worst job ever.
Executive Officer (Former Employee) - Liverpool - 4 October 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Going home each night. Awful. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Worst part is the targets. Quantity over quality all the time. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Stressful. People are stressed. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Come in, head down, ear phones in and just produce enough cases to stop being threatened with the sack!

Everything that is wrong with the civil service
Caseworker (Former Employee) - Liverpool - 28 February 2023
Don't bother working here unless you enjoy backstabbing, spying and grassing on colleagues and not actually doing much real work. If you like gossiping, skiving, brown nosing and drinking tea all day you will fit right in.

Lots of career progression if you're willing to work hard. Flexible working hours are good for anybody with care commitments. Good work / life balance. Supportive colleagues
