Not at all a productive place to work. No room to make things better or suggestions. If your face does not fit I suggest leave
Customer Claims Advisor (Former Employee) - Preston, Lancashire - 12 April 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? This is a joke of a company. Managers treat staff diabolical. I don't even understand how they have kept going as a company. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Everything. All the abusive calls from customers. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? None existent. Very much of a company where its one rule for one and one rule for another. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Mentally draining and just pure exhausted.

Good place to work for
Plumber (Former Employee) - Oxford, Oxfordshire - 18 February 2023
Overall I enjoyed my time at Home serve. Management were supportive and helpful. A little unorganised at times..Showed up for a shift and they had my rota wrong..or vice versa I was supposed to be at work but my rota said I was off. However work was good...office dispatchers were fair. Enjoyed it only left because The shift patterns didn't suit me.
Pros
Good pay management supportive friendly place.
Cons
Short patterns and unsociable hours.

CR Planning & Performance Executive (Current Employee) - Walsall - 28 February 2020
Working here for 2 years and 8 months, the company does really value there customer base, always improving and looking to do the right thing for the customer and employee. Very friendly atmosphere, where from senior management to front line staff are included into the business focus and end of year results to feel more involved.

Homeserve
Warranty Sales / Customer Relations Executive (Former Employee) - Walsall - 16 May 2017
During the time I worked at Homeserve, it went through some difficult restructures due to FCA investigations.
The people working there were fantastic and did everything they could to support their team members and the companies ethos.
Unfortunately I ended my employment in a department which was no longer required under the companies restructuring, so was made redundant.
Pros
Good canteen, Staff incentives and company ethos

Fun Place to work at
Administration/Customer Service (Temp) (Former Employee) - Preston, ENG - 19 October 2015
I enjoyed my time at Homeserve everyday was a learning experience the staff were friendly and helpful. The breaks were well timed so the hours never felt too long and free coffee and tea was a plus I would recommend this company to anyone. Unfortunately due to circumstances I had to leave when my contract was up which did make this experience short-lived.
Pros
Free coffee, tea etc.
Cons
None
