General Associate in Swindon, Wiltshire

Good people, fast paced but English management poor which is a shame because the Japanese philosophy is good.
Fantastic place to work for with a really good team of experienced grafters that are very welling to share their expertise to train others, shame they are closing in July as for a lot of the long term staff there it is all they have ever done. The only problem is the English management are poor being bullish & not sticking to the Japanese philosophy, they concentrate on quantity instead of quality.

One of the best companies I've worked for
Really enjoyed my time at Honda. I worked on the customer relations team. Everyone was very friendly and willing to help. The working environment was very professional, but relaxed at the same time. Never once did I hear anyone complain, which is kinda refreshing. I never felt too over pressured, and was always given the tools to do my job to best of my ability. Even though I was agency worker I feel I was treated like an direct employee.

Worst place you could imagine. Someone once said that it's worse than prison! I can't disagree with that! They simply have no morals or compassion for their fellow worker!

Dissapointing at times
Worked in the motor trade for 42 years, had some good times I would say for the first 30 year, then things started getting really stressful target driven, more for profit than for customer.

I worked for Honda (UK) and it was a very encouraging place to work!
I worked at Honda (UK) for 6 years and in that time I was promoted 3 times and was put through 2 year long management courses for free. I feel this company really invest in people and the reward and recognition is great too!
