Host Staffing
Host Staffing Employee Review
Can be tough but worth as a side gig.
Barback (Former Employee) - City of London, Greater London - 21 August 2023
The company offers a lot of shifts but not a lot of different jobs. The pay is standard but the shift finds can be inconvenient, either too long or too short.

Flexible and good.
Bartender (Former Employee) - London, Greater London - 25 September 2023
The people were friendly and the work hours were whatever you wanted. Made fitting other things in very easy and still allowed me to work. All environments were very welcoming.

Worst agency do not work here
Waiter/Bartender (Former Employee) - London, Greater London - 10 October 2022
I have worked for host staffing for over a year. At first I enjoyed it but I soon started to face some issues. Not only are most of the members of management self-entitled and unnecessarily condescending, they claim to uphold an equality policy giving all workers the same opportunities. False. You can be blacklisted from “VIP” shifts and left to do kiosk work which on several occasions I have been verbally abused in. Call support is trash. There are an odd few managers that are really nice. Many times pay is miscalculated and shifts can change when you arrive on your location. Meaning u may have to stay much longer than u signed up for.

Official response from Host Staffing
12 October 2022Hi there, Sorry you have had a bad experience with us, at Host we really do want everyone to enjoy their work and not feel out of their comfort zone which is why we will sometimes only publish shifts to people who have either been requested directly by the client or to staff who have the specific skill/training for example we would only publish barista shifts to those with barista training as it would be stressful for a staff member to work that shift if they did not know how to correctly use a coffee machine. We have hundreds of shifts available each day and have a variety of roles available that also include further training so you can gain more skills. If you have any further questions please feel free to contact us on info@host-staffing.co.uk
